They make them in such a way that you can enjoy them without playing the others, but there's a lot you wouldn't realize you're missing out on story wise
If I included everything I had thought was awesome about the game, the movie would have probably been over 4 hours. I just got the new Tomb Raider in the mail, and I'm going to start playing it tonight. It looks like it's got some Uncharted influence in it, so I wouldn't doubt it'd be a good game to make a movie from. However, right now I'm working on the Assassin's Creed 2 movie, and I will also do Brotherhood, Revelations, and AC3 before I go to any other series.
+ANDRE PALMER Oh yeah! IN my book, Uncharted 3 is the best one by far. Why? because I'm not dying nearly as many times as i did in uncharted 1 and 2. I'm already on chapter 16 in UC 3 and i've only died like 5-8 times but in UC 2 i would have died like 20 times, both games were on normal.
Just want to say thanks for this movie. I was very sceptical to the subject when I read your descirption, fearing that thiswould be another gameplay video of someone fooling around, making the film unwtchable. But you did a great job, you really managed to make cutscenes and gameplay mix together, and only few times, did I notice you cutting out gameplay. Just wants to say thank you, I watched all 3 hours in a row and was very entertained.
Shmoo Figjam I don't really know enough about it to answer that question. I'm avoiding any story information out there to avoid spoilers. I just know I love the Uncharted series so whatever they put out I'm going to love playing.
Andy Gilleand Well, I wont spoil you if you really have no idea what it's about but I will say that it looks bloody amazing and I think will be a very good conclusion to the series! Sucks we have to wait till 2016...
Another great movie, as I have said before I just love these movies. If you other viewers out there don’t know wether to watch these vids or not , please do, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you 😊 for sharing it. 10 out of 10 as usual. xxx
Thanks Andy, great game movie. I used to watch Uncharted 1 and 2 with my sun, sitting hours on end watching while he played. I enjoyed this very much. Thanks again xx
I'm planning on it. Just started playing the game today, but I'm not recording my gameplay the first time through. I need to have a grasp at the story and level design before I begin work on my movies. I'm also going to wait for sales to cool down before I make it, so I will finish my HD remakes of my Uncharted movies first, then I'll decide what I want to do after that.
Those people are rare. Sure, gameplay wise, there's nothing particularly new about the Uncharted games, but I think there's a unique blend of shooting, climbing, and exploring that make it feel different, as well as the bloody awesome story and great acting/writing/directing. As for the multiplayer, it's got the standard multiplayer modes, but I think there's enough different about it to make it unique, especially the co op modes and the labs. Many prefer it to CoD multiplayer.
Yeah, in multiplayer options you can choose to include or exclude the DLC levels.Keeping it on does not guarantee the DLC levels will be picked, however, because it depends if the other people you're connected to also have the DLC. I find there's a good balance between original levels and DLC levels in the multiplayer.
He was going to the radio tower I think to try to call for help. I ended up cutting this section from my HD remake because it felt mostly like filler. The boat scenes in my HD remake are a lot shorter. He basically escapes custody and then soon after is already on Rameses' ship. I felt it worked better that way.
Finished this game in 6 hours when I was sick at home... MAN! These background music pieces are Magical😍 I cried when I finished the game. Still the best story of literally all games I've played before👌🏽THIS IS ART🎶
+Wesker12349 maybe they were confusing this with Uncharted 1. I beat that one in 5 hours (you can watch the stream of that recorded on my channel), and I wasn't even rushing through the game or anything either.
Replying to "Kaan". Worst story, you say? What, can you not understand it? Is that why it's so bad? You have your own opinion and I respect that, but really? How on Earth does UC3 have a bad story? It was simply amazing. Although that's my opinion. The story was very well written and very well played out. I don't understand how you think it's so bad though. At least give good reasons why you think that.
Even 3 hours is a bit too long for some people. I'd ideally want it around 2:30-2:45. You can check the first AC movie on my channel. It's not great, as the first game is a bit slow and repetitive, but I did what I could with it. I've only just started AC2, but it's already editing together quite nicely, but I am definitely worried about the length, as it's a longer game than the Uncharted games.
I'm working on an Assassin's Creed 2 movie right now, and after that I'll be doing the 3 other remaining AC games, but after those are done, we'll see. I haven't played it yet but it looks like it may be a candidate for this type of project.
You can download the uncharted 3 multiplayer for free, but you can only play to something like level 15. After that you stop getting experience. There are purchasable upgrades though for more levels and options.
What I thought was most important about the desert scene was that he gets lost in the desert, he doesn't have any food or water, he's out there for days, and he's to the point where he's seeing things. I think I got all those point across. Plus I had to include that opening wide shot of him climbing the sand dune towards the beginning because it set the tone for the scene. I had originally included more of the desert scene, but it was something like 10 minutes, so I had to cut some.
You are the very reason I bought the game 2 days after watching this. I was playing Among Thieves and this made me want to buy it far before I finished the second game. I really love it. Beat franchise to date.
Thanks, for your hard work Andy Gilleand, uncharted series are all my favourite game of all time. Uncharted3 is summer block buster game ever made. Uncharted3 is masterpiece. Love ps3
Perhaps. I was planning to do Arkham Asylum next, but I had a problem while making that, which means I'm going to have to start all over in order to finish that movie, so instead I may go back and remake my Uncharted movies in HD, since I recently bought an HD capture device.
You can search on google : "The lost city of Iram". According to Holy Qur'an : 6: Have you not considered how Allah dealt with 'Aad ? - 7: [With] Iram - who had lofty pillars, 8: The likes of whom had never been created in the lands 9: And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley? 10: And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes? - 11: [All of] whom oppressed within the lands 12: And increased therein the corruption. 13: So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment. 14: Indeed, your Lord is in observation. Are you kidding me? The original sixaxis was light, but the Dualshock 3 isn't, because of the vibration motors, and I love multiplayer. I play Uncharted 2 and 3 all the time online (as well as a bunch of other multiplayer games). Though I do think singleplayer story modes are far more important for developers to focus on than multiplayer.
I have watched all your uncharted movies and loved them all, you seriously should try making this a business or something, really good job. I hope they make an actual movie out of this, if not i can always come back and watch these, awesome stuff. Please upload more...
The multiplayer is still highly active, especially since they just released a free to play mode, but personally I think this game is worth it for single player alone. Same goes for the other Uncharted games.
Did you buy it used? If not, check if you might be entering it wrong. The code can only be used once, so most used copies will need to purchase the online pass separately.
I agree. I love that this game feels as if you're playing a movie. If I am not mistaken, there are behind-the-scenes type videos in which Naughty Dog says that making the game feel like a movie was one of their biggest goals.
The main focus of the game was Ubar. They didn't want to distract from that too much by adding more draa than they needed. They put in just enough that anybody paying attention should pickup on what was going on. Beyond that I believe it explains more in the official game guide and replaying the game multiple times allows you to undertand that story more too.
I agree, but that desert scene moves so slow and long, and cutting that scene doesn't create any plot holes, so I just had to do it, as I was trying to include as minimal of gameplay as necessary to understand the story, in order to keep the time down as short as I could. I also love that scene tho. It's just one of the many things I guess that makes playing the game a far better experience than just watching the movies (though that's fun too)
I highly recommend you buy them if you can. Even though you'll get most of the story from my movies, there's still a lot you'd miss out on gameplay-wise.
There really was an Atlantis of the Sands, although it was not a lost city. The city of Ma'rib in Yemen supported a large population and great wealth in the desert through trade, buildings dams and irrigation canals for over a thousand years from ~800 BC - 500 AD. Its location has always been known, but much of it was buried by the desert until recently when excavations showed it was much larger than had been thought. It was the capital of the kingdom of Saba, which probably inspired the story of the kingdom of Sheba, as in the Queen of Sheba.
(SPOILERS FOR UNCHARTED 3) It was probably the fire demons from this game, from Ubar (the hallucinations). There are multiplayer co-op modes that include them.
i have never played this game but based on its story, characters and gameplay looks one of the best games i've ever seen. its so cinematic and it appears more like a movie than a game. i really love nate drake's personality by being likeable jerk, snarky, sarcastic, intelligent and adroit in hostile environment just as well when is neck deep in some troubling situations. i love his relationship with elena who is also very strong, sexy and independent female character who can take care of herself. i like the fact they were married but i dislike that they cant stay together 4ever but always be apart, what pisses me even more that she always shows up in the middle of the game not at he beginning. chloe is very seductive, aggressive and very hot contrast to elena. at the beginning of uncharted 2 i didnt know what to make of her because she was on that thin line between good and bad, but she turned out ok. i prefer elena over her but she brings some interesting dynamic in all of this and its nice to see her having nate's back. sully is very hilarious and awesome, drake's father figure and without him nate wouldnt be what he is today.
I could yeah, but I didn't think the extra play time necessary to finish in crushing was worth the small benefit. Instead I just cut out the button prompts in editing.
Perfect, really appreciate the quality, time, and investment that went into this. I am such a fan, cant get enough of UC and love these works! so awesome you shared with all of us. Many thanks and much gratitude~
The only people who don't like this game are the people who haven't played it. I personally love this series with a passion. You could even say it changed my life. :)
I've watched the first 2, and I think you did a great job. I've played/finish all 3 and it is nice to kick back and just watch it all. These games are better than most of the crap in theatres right now anyhow!
I incorporated much of the desert scene into the movie, I just couldn't include it all due to time. I wanted to, but the movie is very long as it is. Same for the hallucinating sequences. Cuts had to be made. I love every moment of these games, but my goal was to show the MINIMUM gameplay necessary to understand the story.
I do hope to do the batman games eventually, but I will be doing a different series before that. The first movie in that series will be released in the next couple days.
And seeing that scene and him surviving it and how far he was ready to go wirh his obsession, it makes the final scene with elena so much better bc he lost Drakes ring which simbolized his adventures, obsesions etc but got back his wedding ring, he fought in the desert and now he gave all that up for elena, thas why I see it as important but maybe it's just me :) anyway, good job and IF u would make new Tomb Raider into a movie, I'd watch it hahaha
Please do "Uncharted Golden Abyss" too please. I love the way you did 1, 2 and 3. I've always wanted to watch Uncharted like this, as opposed to playing the game. I loved playing 2 but I preferred watching it this way by far
I used to think he looked better in Uncharted 2, but I've changed my mind. The art direction in UC3 is great, and I think Nate and Sully look great. Elena could use some work though.
I just tried Team Death Match and found players within 1 minute. Turning on DLC will give you more chances to find players, but you should be able to find plenty without it. Just keep trying. Try other modes, etc. I especially like the coop adventure mode.
It's called artistic expression. It has a meaning to it, Marlowes voice and the words u hear it saying, 'Sully' helping Nate in the dessert (Sully is what keeps him going and gives him strength to move on and save him)... It's sad that some players don't understant such parts of the game and just wanna skip through them...it's the point of the story damn it...
I hope Neil Druckmann returns to Uncharted for Uncharted 4. He was involved with Uncharted 1 and 2, but wasn't there for Uncharted 3 because he was doing Last of Us. It's possible his absence is part of why the game wasn't as good.
Loved it :) Felt like watching the movies..a trilogy, appreciate your time that went into it too..thanks , looks like a great game..too bad i hate the controller LOL
I don't have any of these games, so won't pretend mine is better then your's nor would I care. And I don't cuss like I never learned any other words besides those on the play ground. This was uploaded to those who would like to see it. I enjoyed your movie. Thanks!
Watching this felt like watching the TRUE successor to Indiana Jones. Yeah the main character is quite different, and that is a good thing. But all of the sense of adventure and wonder, its all there. Bravo.
No, it's actually confirmed they're married in the official game guide I believe, but it should be obvious since typically the guy doesn't wear a ring until after he's married.
They have 2 teams. One is working on the last of us, the other is rumored to have been working on a project since Uncharted 3 was done, likely Uncharted 4.
You're right, it's just a different demographic. People who play COD are more likely to play on 360 than PS3. But that's not true of all games. Some multiplats are more popular on PS3 than 360, and it's even possible some games more people bought the game on PS3, but more people play ONLINE on 360. Online player counts are not a good indicator of console popularity as a whole.
The hardest part of the game so far that I am up to is the scene where you have to get past all those people shooting at you. I AM SO OBSEST WITH THIS GAME. This was the first game I played and I love it
right, but you still have to fight them lol I guess you could say the hallucinogen was the monster in the same way you could say of the sap in UC2 and the curse in UC1.
this game is still one of the best games ive ever played
"Oh, for God's sake. 'Lay on.' It's 'lay on, MacDuff.' " Just over thirty minutes in and Charlie's fast becoming my favourite character :)
They make them in such a way that you can enjoy them without playing the others, but there's a lot you wouldn't realize you're missing out on story wise
Same with the other games. That's what makes this series so great. Grounded in real history and real legends.
Could it be that Assassins creed does the same ? Just speculation , after all history is not what we are been told
Nate looks so different in unchanted 4
Unchanted?
@@loganphillips5471 sounds like some medival fantasy game
If I included everything I had thought was awesome about the game, the movie would have probably been over 4 hours.

I love Elena. I don't get why people dislike her so much...
who dislike her?
I love her!
I agree with u too I love Elena she smart
Wesker12349 Just read the comments... A lot of people really don't like her.
Saralalah they don't like her because she bitches too much but she does bring me joy
that scene in the burning house in france was CRAZY! And so far, i like Charlie. The goofball yet serious character in the game
Hey... Your gonna do uncharted 4 right?
TheAzRage Of course
Andy Gilleand;)
Andy Gilleand What are you most looking forward to about the final one?
10 out of 10 as usual. xxx
This game was awesome i just don't get how he did all that climbing with his bare hands. Drake must of had callus out the ass lol
Thanks Andy, great game movie. I used to watch Uncharted 1 and 2 with my sun, sitting hours on end watching while he played. I enjoyed this very much. Thanks again xx
the best game in the world
I'm planning on it. Just started playing the game today, but I'm not recording my gameplay the first time through. Anyone noticed 2 & 3 have similar plots?
Yeah, in multiplayer options you can choose to include or exclude the DLC levels.Keeping it on does not guarantee the DLC levels will be picked, however, because it depends if the other people you're connected to also have the DLC. I find there's a good balance between original levels and DLC levels in the multiplayer.
I love this Game!!!
He was going to the radio tower I think to try to call for help. I ended up cutting this section from my HD remake because it felt mostly like filler. The boat scenes in my HD remake are a lot shorter. He basically escapes custody and then soon after is already on Rameses' ship. I felt it worked better that way.
Charlie looks just like Jason Statham
Finished this game in 6 hours when I was sick at home... MAN! These background music pieces are Magical😍 I cried when I finished the game. Still the best story of literally all games I've played before👌🏽THIS IS ART🎶
6 hours?? Were you playing on easy?
+Wesker12349 maybe they were confusing this with Uncharted 1. I beat that one in 5 hours (you can watch the stream of that recorded on my channel), and I wasn't even rushing through the game or anything either.
+Wesker12349 yah haha no hate ;)
I love this game!
Uncharted 3 was awful the story is the worst story I heard in a game.
Replying to "Kaan". Worst story, you say? What, can you not understand it? Is that why it's so bad? You have your own opinion and I respect that, but really? How on Earth does UC3 have a bad story? they should make a movies of this game
Yes that would be so cool
#Stefaan i do believe the cutscenes make the feel "like" the movie. not that i'm against what you're saying
I'm working on an Assassin's Creed 2 movie right now, and after that I'll be doing the 3 other remaining AC games, but after those are done, we'll see. I haven't played it yet but it looks like it may be a candidate for this type of project.
Anyone think that cutter looks like jason statham
Definately!!
You can download the uncharted 3 multiplayer for free, but you can only play to something like level 15. After that you stop getting experience. There are purchasable upgrades though for more levels and options.

Drake... The ultimate Bond wannabe
+Mikael Ortmayer I think you mean Indiana Jones...
Andy Gilleand Yh probably a mixture of Bond and Jones. He fucks less than Bond though...
well what have you accomplish lately?
Thanks, for your hard work Andy Gilleand, uncharted series are all my favourite game of all time. Uncharted3 is summer block buster game ever made. Uncharted3 is masterpiece. Love ps3

came here from pewd's uncharted 4 ending :^(
same here
Same! 😞
I came from daz games uncharted 4
me to..... miss the memories of this games
Same
The first game's controls can be a bit annoying at times, but be patient because both 1 and 2 are great games.
Anyone else think Drake looks a little bit like Robin Thicke?
Just me?
Okay.
Definitely appreciate the time and effort it takes to create these. They're very entertaining and make for an awesome watch. Well done.
the cringe and uncomfort knowing all these relations before elena
The multiplayer is still highly active, especially since they just released a free to play mode, but personally I think this game is worth it for single player alone. Same goes for the other Uncharted games.
Worst game EVER!!!
Something's wrong with you...
Worst comment ever!!!!

iSamir X IKR
iSamir X Worst person EVER!!!!
I usually do use stealth there, and I believe I was planning to, I just accidentally got caught early on
Great job man, I absolutely loved the cut scenes. All three beat any movie out there past and present.

I do hope to do the batman games eventually, but I will be doing a different series before that. The first movie in that series will be released in the next couple days.
Love the dialogue , on this game. It get more intriguing, as you play throughout the levels. Best uncharted in my opinion!
One of the most entertaining and cinematic experience if any medium ever created!
Elena could use some work though.
best "movie" sunday !!...watched all 3 of your masterpieces......waiting for the 4th :)
I just tried Team Death Match and found players within 1 minute. Turning on DLC will give you more chances to find players, but you should be able to find plenty without it. Just keep trying. Try other modes, etc. I especially like the coop adventure mode.
Brilliant thanks for doing these movies! I don't have the PS3 for a long while and was missing Drake's adventures.
This is freaking wicked. My computer will only load the first 3 minutes, but It's still awesome. Good job dude.
I get goosebumps when I see the sand graphics in the fight with Talbot at the end.
They have 2 teams. One is working on the last of us, the other is rumored to have been working on a project since Uncharted 3 was done, likely Uncharted 4.
Simply, Great Job! Its like watching an blockbuster movie. Havent played the game either. Would love hd version on this one.
I would love to but I can't. There's no TV out option for the vita.
I watched all three of these. Such a great series. I wish I could afford a PS3 to relive it.
This was the first game I played and I love it
right, but you still have to fight them lol
I guess you could say the hallucinogen was the monster in the same way you could say of the sap in UC2 and the curse in UC1.
33:20 "abra-goddamn-cadabra"
Victor Sullivan. Legend.
i love how in this one there are more than the usual Indiana Jones references. This one has so many Last Crusade analogies, it boggles minds.
awesome man!! You rock. Seriously keep going. Ur doin a great job dude!! It was a great effort by you and an awesome experience to me.
I got to say, this is definitely a game that should be in the best games ever list, this includes the whole series! :D
This is a really cool idea man, subbed for sure keep the titles up. Sure they require alot of work.
