We use Chao original sliced cheese, the just egg patty, and a gardien breakfast sausage patty (cut in half to make two thin patties) on an English muffin. My non vegan family loves these. We often do birthday brunches and this is always a request. Also if you're feeling a little lazy the Chao and just egg patty on any bread is really amazing especially with a little hot sauce.

To answer your question, Mcdonald's don't season the round eggs for the Mcmuffin.

i personally prefer the beyond sausage patties, or even the gardein sausage patties, over the lightlife (which taste like dogfood :/ all their products do!). i don't like tofu but the JUST egg product is amazing! the formed frozen patties they sell are perfect for this! regarding cheese i prefer daiya or violife. yumyum! :D

yes, they're both vegan, she used the impossible and the lightlife sausages
Both of the original ones were plant-based that Mei initially cooked to try to see which one resembled the McDonald's one more closely. For the ending taste test though the one Mei ate was the vegan winner and the other one was the McDonald's one.

Miyoko's butter just tasted weird to me, however we have a vegan butter store brand ( I believe it's President's Choice?)
which is surprisingly good.
I really enjoy some of the Miyoko soft cheese spread flavours on crackers or as part of a vegan charcuterie board paired
with other items.
I have yet to find decent tasting cheese slices with any brand , though.
Kite Hill , imo has some top notch cheeses and yogurts.
A better way to taste test would have been to do each sausage option with each cheese option, since those were the only variables.

I've tried vegan cheese. I have never found a vegan cheese that doesn't taste like coconut. I haven't tried Violife yet though, because it is so expensive. I WISH that McDonalds sold a vegan version because I would totally buy that.
violife is good! do you have a grocery outlet near you? sometimes they have it for like $2.50
Violife is delicious. I also like Chao.
@@footballchica026 I live about 2 hours from a major city, so I only have access to Safeway and Bashas. I plan to check the cheese Isle the next time I go because I think I saw the violife there, but I think it's around $7 there.

The faux meats and Just Egg type products that you can get these days are phenomenal,
however vegan cheeses are not there yet in terms of flavour, and I've tried pretty much all of them.
Miyoko's is probably my favourite though in terms of cheese spreads, but I have yet to taste a
Cheddar or American cheese slice that tastes like actual cheese or has that mouth feel.

ForA butter is hands down my favorite vegan butter, because after trying miyokos it reminded me so much of just stick margarine and I couldn't stomach it. I would switch out the cheese to Choa cheese as I find it melts better, but interesting concept.

Thrive Market sells it, but I've bought it from Misfit Market also. It's pricey but it's a nice splurge to have.
