I know this video was done a long time ago, I just wanted to say that I am currently going through all of your videos (in order) and I love what you did in this video! I think this video alone has convinced me to save up for the Norvise system! Great job, Sir!

I have the norvise system, (most of it) and I think it is the best money I have spent on learning and tying flies. The dubbing brushes are fantastic for the larger flies I tie, and dubbing the thread it good for any size. I am so happy I decided to buy this when I did. I had just learned to tie, and nothing was set in stone. So I learned to use the norvise at the very beginning of my tying days. It has proved to be invaluable. All the best, Sean

Very impressive. The poly bodies look lighter and more realistic than foam and because of this should balance the fly better. The foam bodies tend to land tail end down and these will fish the right way up. I've also seen a guy using silicone on the needle and spinning the poly on to it.

thank you for showing this style of mayfly... most ask for foam to me it don't look real. I would like to learn more if you don't mind making more videos ^^

    Damm you Norm !!!
I was very happy with my Thompson A 360, Then I had to watch this Video %$#%^&
Then I went to your web site %*() My wife is going to hate me and you !
Your Vice and accessories are more like art. They are wonderful !
The idea of keeping the hook shank inline with the vice is so nice, Then when you spun the jaws of the Vice I had to go to your web site to see if there was some kind of motor in the vice . Thank you for a wonderful "System"
Oh the Gallows,, Very good idea,

that is a very nice tool and it makes some tying more realistic, and more appealing to fish. but there is one simple trick that you forgot. if you wrap the paracute the other way then you can wrap with the hackle and not tie any fibers down

hello, I'm having trouble pulling the ext body section off the needle. The things just seem to disintegrate. I don't use nor so I'm waxing the dubbing onto thread and then wrapping around the moose fibers... or should I go buy some dubbing tools? Ps: Good video! reminds me of norm from Old Yankee Workshop :)

Rotating the vise? It looks strange... I´d rather spin the bobbin and tie way wrap by wrap.
