Old guy here. Let’s get real, the Chiefs were never going to go undefeated! If they had gone 15-0 and clinched home field advantage, they would have retested all the starters and lost games. The undefeated season was never a goal, it’s the 3peat is ALL that matters. Got to win the division, and obtain home field advantage.
Andy Reid didn’t call enough run plays, the Buffalo Bills are vulnerable on the ground. It was also controlling the tempo of the game and we went away from it. I’m not sure what Hunt was averaging yards per carry but it was working. Up to the Bills game the offense has been about ball 🏈 control taking shots when it’s there only. The O line also hasn’t looked like they are on the same page at all because Patrick is taking unnecessary hits and sacks.
I'd like to see the guys go up fast this Sunday and be a able to set some of the starters sometime in the 2nd half. I may be wrong but I agree with you the guys are just flat tired and it's totally understandable. They got to get the bye to rest. Last year was so hard on these guys but they powered through it. I had a cousin that was a started in the NFL as a lineman for 10 years and the off season he would come back to town. You could see how beat he was in many way.
Offense needs to play more up tempo like it did down 23-14. More urgency up tempo attack mode!! Let Patrick play free, get him outside the pocket more right or left, more up tempo no huddle at various times throughout the game to catch the defense off guard and create more explosive plays. Allow some backyard football cause it’s what Pat does best as it would help him not worry every snap about getting killed by his tackles. Screens, checkdowns, hitches, meshes, in & out quick hitters are efficient but tedious & not fun/explosive!! Offense needs more Mahomes Magic 🪄
U can't play like that if the line can't block!!!!! Andy Reid knows that..... The bills were playing sort of a prevent defense... They knew when they got the ball back they were going for a touchdown to win the game

Yes and no....they need to stay humble and know that they are beatable. But lets be honest. The last two years all but one of the playoff games came down to 1 play. The Bills game Sunday came down to 1 play....the Chiefs D needed a stop on 3rd and 9 and 4th and 2; but Buffalo made the plays.....No reason to panic....just learn and grow...9-1 great start!
How is this a wake up call..there's atleast 4 games they could've lost if the ball bounce the direction.. this team is barely winning games..just watch they'll barely beat the panthers by 1 point or field goal in the last second
Ryan why has there been a regression in Mahomes game? In his early days Patrick would see the whole field now he’s got blinders on and missing wide open receivers running wide open. In his early days he would just sling it. Now he’s not, I don’t think the oline has anything to do with it. Since winning SBs he’s regressing each season. So is it wearing them down? Is it Bienemy missing? Is it Andy reeling him in to much? Why is Patrick not seeing the whole field like he did?

O line has everything to do with it. What makes you think Patrick can see the field when his eyes have to be down at the line every snap
