      @@RandyFricke I didn’t say money caused it. I said it’s THE LOVE OF MONEY that’s the problem. People love money more than life itself. They love it more than they do their own family! The love of money causes people to do the unthinkable like, steal your mothers house away from her because you desire more assets. The house was more important than a loving relationship between her, her mother, and brother. SMH. Something terrible went wrong in their upbringing.

    • @HollieHolliewood
      @HollieHolliewood 11 месяцев назад +26

      It's a complaint where none of the alleged offenses have been tried in a court of law. The mother was taken from her home, her most familiar environment, and placed in a nursing facility or senior assistance living facility where she may very well be remanded to a room with a television, 3 drawers and depending upon the facility, be neglected, abused and allowed to wither away with little to no family interaction. Where was the son to care for her in recent years if he has had power of attorney since 2010 as he has claimed? Why hadn't he hired an in home aide to care for his ailing mother while residing with her 80 plus year old husband? Or was he just power of attorney when it benefitted his own personal gain? There are many unanswered questions that must be addressed. I'm not buying this rendition of events and am interested to know the facts of the case. Not just what a police officer is or isn't "buying" based upon the complainant.

    • @meatpopsicle1567
      @meatpopsicle1567 11 месяцев назад

      @@rnupnorthbrrrsm6123 Oh, if only that were true! While some people are still being held accountable for their actions, there is a trend rising for excusing or ignoring bad behavior in our society these days, which gives tacit passes to certain people who now seem have the approval of whatever the current narrative is for that day. We have seen examples of that in the real world with district attorneys refusing to add firearms and gang enhancements to criminal defendants accused of accidentally killing children during gang-related mobile shootouts on interstates in California.
      While it would be nice if everyone acted in an honest, ethical, and moralistic way, that has never been the case for the entirety of all human history. There have always been people who do bad things, and there always will be.
      The recent apparent surge in the uptick of these incidents can be attributed to various reasons, among which is the removal of certain protections, including eliminating the police ability to effectively counter such behavior, the refusal of prosecutors to prosecute clearly prosecutable cases, the stifling of a sense of shame for certain behaviors in society as a whole, and a host of others issues that now give ungovernable or unreasonable people a sense of entitlement.
      If there are no negative consequences, there is no reason to moderate one's behavior, in the minds of those people.
      In a perfect world, this would not be an issue. This is not a perfect world, however, and people are going to do whatever they want, no matter what the consequences and no matter what we may think.

    This is very serious. My sister and I were asked by our father to be enduring power of attorney. Papers all signed at lawyers. When he collapsed on us and was rushed to hospital. The Drs. enacted the power of attorney. First thing we did was have dad’s health looked into by a geriatric specialist. Dad had an CT Scan of his brain. With dad’s delirium, we then had him tested by a professional mental health assessor. It’s was all documented processed by lawyers etc.
    Thank heavens we protected dad this way, because when he started to tell relatives etc that he had millions and millions of dollars, they began to come forward and try to take dad away from his long term care facility. It did actually get to the point that we had to take legal action against a couple of them with restraining orders. Family can be real monsters.

I didn’t have the heart to press charges but sometimes I wish I would’ve. Instead, I had an attorney file a notice at the courthouse stating the title to the land it fraudulently owned. Thankfully my wife and one of her old sisters hired an attorney from the very begining and everything was done above board and legal, and it was proven that my wife and her sister took nothing from their siblings. The family will never be the same because of the lies and false accusations made by one of my wife's brothers. There wasn't even a lot of money involved.

    But this is what the LORD says: “I will reward your evil with evil; you won’t be able to pull your neck out of the noose. You will no longer walk around proudly, for it will be a terrible time" (KJV, Micah 2:2-3). 🙏🏾

    Why are they fighting over a house? The poor mother with dementia, the actual owner, ain’t even dead yet but they’re already squabbling over it?! Having dementia is fcked up but here’s one good thing she had it. Imagine the worst heartache knowing your own family can’t wait to get their greedy hands on your property when you’re still alive and kicking. Wtf.

    So much greed i don’t understand people when someone gets down sick or passes away their kids and other relatives want to fight and snatch and grab everything. Love your family if you can and if you can’t don’t run in grabbing at their possessions I’m poor but there is nothing worth fighting over when it comes to money and things. If you love someone your memories should be enough

    Sounds like a typical Jamaican family to me... Fighting over land, house, money passed down my parents/grandparents etc. This is sad and unfortunate.
