listening to this album and thinking back to indigo…this man definitely got his heart broken… It’s so crazy how different all of his solo albums/ mixtapes are. Indigo is still my favorite but he killed it on this project! Such a raw album!🤍

It's pretty cathartic to sing along to Groin the car at the top of my lungs! A lot of ppl forget that Lost is all in his brain - conflicting feelings, different moods, etc. so relatable. I love the hoo hoos in nuts - like who thinks to put that in a song? So cool! 💜
Come back to me was inspired by the book the Midnight Library which looks at perspective - what if I had made x choice instead, what would that life be. Glad you’re back and feeling better! So sorry for your family loss. Hopefully you’re coming into only good things now ;). Don’t skip out on the into and interlude when you do the full album. Also, if you play them in order you can hear how he set up all the transitions.

When i saw you uploaded a new video and it was a reaction to THIS album I felt really excited and shocked that my mom asked me what happened. I freaking loved this project so much. The instrumentals are really good, loved the jazz and alternative influences in all. I think the whole idea of the album to me is summarized in the title Right place, wrong person, in the sense that throughout our lives we move forward but we find ourselves feeling like something is off, not fitting right, as if we don't belong properly in the scenarios we are in. But even if it does not feel right, life is like that and we have to learn to embrace and accept some of the 'wrong" to progress and evolve and move forward. My favorites from this one are Domodachi, Around the World in a day and Nuts. I do agree with your view on Domodachi, as imo, it feels like a song about how it felt to grow up in the insanity of the industry and that he could leave it all behind but in the end, he goes back because that is where he "belongs", almost as if he embraces the chaos and craziness. Lost MV is soooo good and creative. Love that one as well. Thanks for the reaction, Caitlin! Hope you can do the full album soon (listen to it in its entirely is an amazing experience).
I think for come back to me each scene is an expectation set in life, but since he does not want to play out those things they seem to be sad. The door he is trying to get to i believe represents the freedom of choosing your own path, and the girl we see may be going through the same thing. In the end he wonders what it’d be like if he had followed these expectations set on him, but chooses his own freedom. At least thats what i think 😅

Also, I’m sorry for your loss. My mother died in a car accident a long time ago, so I definitely understand how jarring it can be when it’s unexpected like that. About Come back to me, I think all those scenarios we see through the video represent all the expectations society puts on him (and on all of us): have a family, have relationships, dont disappoint your parents, etc., and in the end we see him finding a part of himself (represented by the woman) that teaches him that he doesn't have to live up to those expectations, that he doesn't have to be anything, just like the lyrics of the song say. So we see those scenes again but this time he's happy because he's there by his choice and not because "that's the way it should be". And yes, it's kinda sad that he's still in the maze, but now he knows there's many possibilities and he's not forced to be anything he doesn't want to.
RPWP was probably one of his best projects. I love this album with all myself, I'm so glad he decided to show this side of him without sugarcoating it.

The MV for Lost was filmed in Romania. I was so shocked when I found out because he was in my country, so close to me, and I didn't know. 😅 I think it is very creative and has a deeper meaning than I can actually understand. All of the videos on this project are. I was like "What...?" the whole time.
According to Jimin, this album was like reading his diary. So personal and deep. Well produced and well written album. I definitely think this was about a breakup and I'm happy he let us in a bit.
I was waiting for this! The whole album makes sense when you listen in order. He said he was mad. Nuts is my fav song. Just love the instruments, his voice just it all works. This album is fantastic! I also love Come back to me as well. Also glad you had time to yourself.

It is so raw and get’s his feelings and thoughts out there- so proud of him. The album musicality was set up to be listened to in order not just for the themes but the music- when you get a chance I encourage you to listen to in order… the songs flow into the other sometimes you do not know that one song ended and the next began… also the story message… you can see that at the end with Come Back to Me he is at peace- Spring has always been there and he is awakened to himself and how to live out his dreams/ life. It is all up for interpretation of course but that is the way I see it. Love hearing your thoughts on music. Thanks again!
