all footage is now being recorded on a browser site. The emulator i recommend using is "MelonDS". I cannot however, share the Rom (you will have to look for one yourself)
This took me WAY too long to make and much longer for the video to finish processing. I have started on other projects recently but I still have more video ideas along the way.

I remember all the times I tried to beat end game when I was little. It got so bad it made me cry, but the feeling I felt when I finally beat this level was amazing! It was a big surprise to see Lego Battles content show up on my feed.

I once beat the entire game with a simple ruleset that was more forgiving in a lot of ways, but less forgiving in one key way. In my ruleset, I was allowed to use any units that I started a level with. However, I couldn't build any specials or mounted or ranged units (building more melee units was allowed because I didn't consider builders only [maybe next time]). The exception was that I was allowed to build a single transport ship if a level required water transportation. One or two tutorial levels force you to build other special units like Pirate Act 1 level 1 forcing you to build a Barracuda so in the interest of the run, I said that any specials other than a singular transport ship that the level forced me to build, I had to retire. The important thing to keep in mind is that by my ruleset, any units (including specials) that I had when I first loaded into a level, I was allowed to use. The other important thing that admittedly made my version way easier was that I did use the hero in combat, and I allowed myself to rebuild the hero if necessary. However, restricting myself to only one transport ship made a lot of the Pirate and Broadside missions awful. That one transport ship wasn't a have one built. It was a build one, and if it dies, restart the level. The final level of Broadside's story was awful because the enemy builders can rebuild anything. They can rebuild the main structure that builds more builders. Unlike other final levels, the level isn't completed until you completely wipe the pirates off the map. In the end, I only won by sneaking a builder onto the right side of the pirate island and building an outpost there to attack from. I'd never played that level that way, but it was actually easier than the more straightforward approach that I'd normally use with that level.
