I’m sure the fella that sold it ya is happy that it went to a good home. I bet they take excellent care of equipment. I’m sure you’ll get her straightened out before long.
That is one nice machine, glad you guys got it, hell of a nice guy that would pass it on to you, but I’m sure he knows about about your operation and how you guys love and take care of your equipment, I’m sure he will sleep well knowing it will be saved, and put back to work! One thing I have noticed over the years, the one piece of equipment a guy seems to get the most attachment to over the years is their combine. I remember a neighbor farm way back in the 80’s went through tough times and had to have a auction, the son told the dad he would drive the combine to the neighbor that bought it, he absolutely refused, he said -I was here when it came, I will drive it away, it was an old Massey, he told me a few years later, that was the hardest thing to let, go was his combine.
Free!! That’s awesome, I had a feeling from the start that Jake had some thing to do with this... he’s a hell of a guy and mechanic. Thumbs up to both of you 👍👍 enjoy!!

That’s a nice combine, and its got a good home by the sounds of it. It’s nice when you look after something really well your whole life to know it’s going to someone who’s going to look after it as good as you did.
Thats one hell of a machine! You definitely can't beat the price on it. I'm excited to see the videos of it getting all fixed up and back into shape. My dad and I found a 7600 with a 4 row head and grain head for 3k in ohio a couple years ago we were gonna go look at to replace our old as dirt IH 93 but we decided it's too far and too much a hassle to get it here. It sold within that week. Once I get my 9700 done if I could ever get the last of the parts for it but the virus now is preventing me from going to pick them up I'm gonna set out to find a tr70. Great video and thanks for sharing!
Congrats! Good to see her home now! Yeah, Jake is kind of like a drug dealer lol! He sends me stuff once in a while too lol! Looking forward to seeing the progress! Thanks for the video!
I’m glad you’re okay, I do the same thing all the time lately. It’s crazy how bad a little speck of saliva can mess with your breathing! It was Nice to hear your excitement, just like a kid in a candy store. It couldn’t have gone to a better person in my opinion. Stay safe Ethan and get her in the field like I know you will! I’m looking forward to those video’s ✌️
Looks like a nice find. If there’s anyone out there dedicated enough to maker her straight and right again, it’s you. She’ll be a fine machine I’m sure. Even if it doesn’t make it to the field this fall, you can’t beat a free combine, especially one that is that close to completely rebuilt.
It's funny how things change, for along time the motor on almost all makes of combines the engine was in the rear of the machine, then everyone moved the engine was moved to the front by the cab, now the engine's are in the back again! Nice machine, it looks like it going to be a great machine for you.
Cool find. That machine should last you a lifetime. Looking forward to seeing the repair videos and in the field. I would guess it’s getting hard to find heads for white combines? I think it’s pretty cool to see the Oliver and White machine’s working in the fields. Here in central Maryland Oliver and White didn’t have a big presence. Thanks for sharing.
This is pretty cool to see, I’ve never seen a White combine where I live, everybody is Deere or IH, lucky to see the occasional Gleaner. Awesome combine
New subscriber to your channel, I remember it being around a few years ago. I just happened to stumble across it again, hopefully some Jack off doesn’t ruin it for you again. Anyways, I remember when that combine accident happened. I seen the guy’s story on Facebook right after it happened. Glad to see it ended up in some good hands to make it run for years to come.
Nice find! Too bad we aren't closer I'm in New York got a 7300 that needs a new home, but if you need parts? This one has the gas engine. Not a bad machine just too small for me
Well holy F'nnn shit lol! Not sure who's more excited here, Love those combines and always wanted one but my dad said 7300 was big enough yrs ago. That's awesome and I'm glad it went to you instead of scrap yard. And every part is still plentifull. I have the same powerplant in my '87 F350 and never lets me down. My eyes opened up when I seen video title and truck coming up the road. Very happy for ya! :)
The moral of the story is don't drive on the highway with grain in the tank. This may be more than a summer project because it is almost impossible to know all that is wrong. Until you take it out in the field and start cutting grain. The price was right but I just bet the transport cost was not nice.
What a wonderful combine ! You'll get it straightened out and it will be like new. That Nick who hauled it seemed like a decent guy. The old 6.354 is a fantastic engine as you know. Does that one have heaters for starting ?
No unfortunately it’s still gonna need a shot of go go juice if it’s to cold out. Apparently they never learned. Lol. This one I believe has the DOT4 engine though so I don’t know if that will make a difference or not.
Great video! Should be a great machine when you get done! Initially I was disappointed that you were not going to tell where in Iowa it came from since I live in central Iowa. Got over that when I saw the dealer sticker where it was sold originally.
I’m happy I just stumbled across this video wasn’t even subscribed, subscribed now curious about all your other combines, farm in Canada Alberta and my parents grew up with these combined and so did I. We have a 7300 as well but a 318 has you mentioned yours was a diesel ? Didn’t know they built them with a diesel. We also have couple 8700s and 8900s and a 9700. And to understand the years on them yours is a WFE graphics meaning it’s the later build. The standard ones are just white. Did you also mention a hydro? Because our WFE is still a variable. Good combines tho man! We just bought the 8700wfe from a local retired farmer always sat in shop still has around 2000hrs on it.
I personally know the guy that delivered that combine for you! Nick and I work together he is one hell of a great guy, I’m proud to call him one of my best friends!
Have you ever seen a model twenty five self propelled combine that was built from nineteen fiftynine until nineteen sixty one. They were also sold as a Ford six eleven.
That is a heck of a gift even with the damage. It will all come together. I once helped repair a 7720 Deere that a shelter fell on after a windstorm. You are right it is mostly sheet metal replacement. Be sure to check the drive axle and final drive housings for damage. Even laying over easy that is a lot of weight on that side. Keep us posted.
You know white 8700 was built in Brantford Ontario Canada and also all Oliver and Minneapolis Combine back in 1963-1985 was in receivers ship 1986 when folded and auctioned off
Congratulations! You did good, and the guy you got it from was a real special kind of guy! If you really think you can tell us it's you are going to wait until Fall to put her back in shape, I won't bet on it!!
Nice and straight and the price is right free can't go wrong with that. I'd think it would look cool of you could snap duals on it. It's just an option

Nothing what a few well placed hammer taps to straighten out the "dents". Sounds like a simple fix for you though. Man at first sight I thought you became a traitor and went with IHC or MF then I saw the White emblem on the side, so I smiled for ya. So, now you just need the headers. Admit it, sooner or later, you're gonna get a reel head for it too. LOL Definitely can't beat the price on it. Cheers :)
Idk. The shift pattern in the Oliver’s is nice and they shift so easy I can probably run my 7300 or 525 just as fast in tight areas. This will be a lot better in mud though.
Just awesome to see. Congrats.
Thanks Jason.
It's always fun getting new toys and the price was just right. Going to be a nice addition to the fleet and cant wait to see her in the feild.

You won't find anyone that takes better care of their equipment than guy you got that from. Looking forward to seeing it running again.
I wish I could have his collection. His 100 series Whites were immaculate. You never find them that clean.
The only time they were cleaner was when they rolled off the assembly line.
You’ll need a barn soon. I wish those were free too. Good luck and I can’t wait to see the finished product.
