Id say go certified used. Insurance gonna be high but even higher on a new truck.
If you running a 450 then forget about hotshot and just get a semi....better yet lease on to a company, most will let you buy the semi from them overtime and you will be protected. Hotshot is dead. Semi trucks are hauling hotshot loads now so pickup truck hotshot is DEAD

How are you running non CDL with a dually one ton? The truck I'm looking at buying is a dually one tone flatbed and bumper guard on it. Also considering a 14gn trailer. May be my math was wrong but I came up with an estimate of 27k pounds. Did you get the trailer derated? How's this possible??
Truck gotta be 14,000 gvwr and trailer has to be Derated.
