Great content Marc! Handling objections about price is a critical skill in sales. Here are some other points: Listen and Understand, Highlight Value, Offer Alternatives, Provide Evidence, Compare Cost vs. Benefit, Address Misconceptions, and Negotiate or Add Value. What prompts you to say that? is one of my favorites.

Whey my clients say, "It's too expensive," they NEVER EVER mean, "Your value does not justify your price." They ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS mean, "I need this very badly and want it very much, but I do not have enough money." I sell life insurance in the home service market to low income seniors. What tactics to you suggest for putting more money into my client's pocket so that he can afford the product he so desperately wants?

If they can't afford it, they can't afford it.
      1. Tell them you understand, and you'll be here when they can afford it. Follow up with them once every few months. Put them in a sale/discount list to contact of the price ever changes.
      2. COUNT THEM. If these kinds of leads are ever more than 40 or 50% of your pipeline - you have a marketing / brand image problem.
It's marketing's job to make sure you get *qualified leads* who actually have the budget to pay your prices.

Hey man, I want to become a great sales person. Im getting all this knowledge on tonality and objection handling... But you cant learn to dance if you dont start to move.
Is there any cold calling or what ever opotunities you could give me? i would only get payed if you closed a prospect i give you. i would be able to work for like 90 mintues a day. I understand its a leap of faith you need to trust me. But im just trying to become a master at sales and need something to do it on.
