    I have this tool and I absolutely love it. Handy, small and powerfull enough to get job done. I use 6Ah batteries. Those 2Ah are not very suitable for it but still can get around 10m of cut in 12mm plywood with 2Ah.

      @bobofthestorm Год назад +2

      What's the difference between 6ah battery? Does it affect performance or are you talking about just the battery life? I'm new to woodworking.

    • @mrtechie6810
      @mrtechie6810 Год назад +2

      @@bobofthestorm battery life, mainly. If you are using it often for long cuts, a larger battery will hold up much better.

      afecta el rendimiento de las baterias... se desgastan mucho menos con 6ah@@bobofthestorm

      I got it with 3 * 2AHr at FFX show at Kent Showground. Brilliant little product. For my purposes, as DiYer with two bigger Makita corded circular saws, that's fine and I can't justify cost of a 6AHr battery. Can't imagine anyone would use it like this 'review'. Simply not intended for such use

    It's also worth noting that this can use Bosch, Mafell, Makita, and Festool track too.

    • @cuebj
      @cuebj 8 месяцев назад

      @@croness91 It's more than that. I am now an elderly casual DiYer but do get asked to help with some quite heavy duty jobs. Of course I don't use it like the 'review' and I have 2 larger Makita corded saws up to 85mm cut depth. But it is very good to have in the box for anything up to 25mm (I have separate crosscut and rip blades plus one for melamine and one for polycarbonate). Just don't expect easy depth change to exactly what you want - best to set depth for the session and leave it at that setting

    I really wish they managed to make this with a smaller motor housing or somehow angled it so it didn't stick so far out. I'd buy it immediately. I wanted either this or the Makita 12v but both have a motor housing that sticks out farther than my DeWalt 20v 6 1/2 and a lot farther than my DeWalt 20v 4 1/2. I want it for cedar shingles so I can hang it off my belt but I'll probably just stick with what I have.

    KOŃCÓWKA DO ODSYSANIA TROCIN I PYŁU - pasować Wam może do każdego odkurzacza, a nie tylko niektórych modeli firmy Bosch. Wystarczy, że do wykonania połączenia, jak najbardziej wielokrotnego użytku, wykorzystacie Państwo kawałek rurki termokurczliwej, o długości 10cm i średnicy Φ 30-15 do małych odkurzaczy lub Φ 40-20 (mm) gdy do większych. Powszechnie dostępne są w sklepach dla elektryków.

    You can't get a 90 degree cut with an angle like that, because the motor sits on it.

      The guide square is thin, it does not touch the motor.

      Not every tool needs to be big and powerful to be useful. I can think of many times where a small right-blade saw would have been useful for cutting plywood.

    • @cuebj
      @cuebj 8 месяцев назад

      It's a brilliant little tool as so many cuts are less than 25mm (1"). Get separate blades for different jobs. Of course it's not meant for use like this 'review'. However... you could make a case for saying the overall build quality robustness is closer to the DiY range. Setting depth is fiddly. Setting angle is almost pointless. But anyone getting it as professional will have heavier duty saws for heavier duty uses

      All Bosh 12 v series have very specific applications
      For example for instaling cabinets or kitchen, to not cary heavy tools with and be able to reach in closed tight spaces
