Dude I want to move to the state you live in I want to go out traffic and catching raccoons and possums and all that I was doing hunting down in Tennessee armadillos raccoons squirrels possums it was awesome that's a good time.....

I was guessing at the 6 species from the beginning, got 5 right but for the 6th I never even considered fox? I was torn between Ermine, Mink or Otter. Ever have any luck on those in your area? Mike
I usually set up a hide 100yds away and set a human trap with and animal trap blatantly out in the open. You have never laughed so hard as when they think they are stealing your trap and they lose a foot...
I've had my dog sprayed by skunk several times especially in Tennessee. There's the striped skunk in the spotted skunk I think these spotted skunk is more potent than the stripes skunk or vice versa. But then at the same time if I'm not mistaken I think it's only the male or only the female skunk that spray's....
I also wouldn't have left them laying in the field for the foraging animals to come and eat. I would have ate the meat and kept the raccoon pills I'd have put them all together and made a rug out of them for my dog maybe some slippers some gloves and a hat

I have caught mink before and lots of otters. we have a limit of three otter per year here in iowa and I usually try and catch them through the ice.

Do the skunks still smell even if they didn't spray
some do but its really not bad at all compared to one that sprays.
I'm sure you've been asked a 100 times but how do you dispatch the skunks without them spraying
Shoot them behind the shoulder with a .177 1200 feet per second air rifle. I’ve caught 23 this year and only one has sprayed so it works good!
