Love that place. Used to be a regular Sunday trip when it was fully working

I'm glad you visited Barrow Hill Roundhouse whilst you were in the area. This is a fascinating video, when I visited about 10 years ago, I couldn't believe I was seeing so many first generation diesel and electric locomotives. The round house looks good now, it was a bit run down when I saw it, nice to see there are still a lot of first generation diesels and electrics. It rivals the national railway museum for the number of locos on display. Nice one.

Amazing number of locos there, loved the bit in the rain, looked like big drops!

Despite the weather, looks like you had a good day. I wondered what had happened to the class 89.

Are most of these diesels at Barrow Hill featured in the video destined for preservation or awaiting scrapping ?
