This is Målle Lindberg, a famous Swedish preacher in the sixties. His sermons were totally mad and extactic. The video is soooo genious, what with that lady´s arm like "Heil" and the dubbing with his words. I just can´t stop digging it, despite my
extremely high age of 55. Love to the producer and Familjen!

Just f*ckin brilliant! I just love the "analoge, grainy, grungey" electro beat that goes so well together with swedish (skånska) vocals, presented with a equally "analogue" old black and white video footage. This feels like a good example when all planets are finnaly aligned to perfection! ❤

DET SNURRAR I MIN SKALLE (ENG)
I made a fire for you
And now the forest is on fire
Now I know what you're going to say
And it feels like the first time
Come, let's show them all that it's us
But they all already knew that
Out, we run away, you and me
Can you hear how they're singing?
      As if everything was predestined
Like the earth revolves the sun
      Who could've taken my place?
      He just doesn't exist
      They speak of something wonderful
I am there and I can tell you
Big, bigger than I've ever thought
      It's turning in my head
I've tried to translate it so that you can still sing it in the same melody and rythm etc. :)

It spent 14 weeks on the Danish Top40 charts.
Australian radio station Triple J put this track on it's 'Hit list' which gave it high rotation (many plays). The song finished the year as Triple J's 3rd most played track of 2008.

Can't sleep and am a bit bored so a very quick translation for you (word placement differs a bit so not a literal one):
Jag gjorde upp en eld för dig - I started a fire for you
Och nu brinner hela skogen - and now the whole/entire forest is burning
Nu vet jag vad du kommer att säg' - Now I know what you're going to say
Och det känns som första gången - and it feels like the first time
Kom, vi visar dem att det är vi - Come/let's go, we'll (let's) show them that it's us
Men det visste alla redan - but everyone already knew that
Ut springer du iväg med mig - Out, you run away with me ("quirky" verb, object, subject word order in this sentence making it sound a bit weird)
Ja hör du hur de sjunger? - Yes can you hear them singing/how they're singing?
Som att allting redan var bestämt - As if everything was already decided
Som att jorden går runt solen - as if the earth "rotates" (går = walks literally) around the sun
Vem hade kunnat ta min plats? - Who could've taken my spot?
Han finns ju bara inte - he simply doesn't exist
De pratar om nåt underbart - They're speaking/talking about something wonderful
Jag är där, jag kan berätta - I'm there, I can tell (you/it/whatever but can be omitted in Swedish)
Stort, större än jag nånsin trott - Large/big, larger/bigger than I had ever thought
Det snurrar i min skalle - My head is spinning (literally "it spins inside my head/skull")

I did my best translating this, but I'm sure it can be a lot better.

Otherwise really great translation, this dialect is very particular!

"Där finns" är ett uttryckssätt som används på skånska. "Der findes" och "der er" går bra på danska och "there is" på engelska, men på rikssvenska säger folk "det är" vilket kräver en annan grammatisk formulering. Jag upptäckte detta när jag sa till en kompis att "där är mjölk i kylskåpet" och hen påpekade att jag inte pratade svenska.

It's a preacher who was very controversial back in the 60's and 70's for his passionate preaching style. Swedes are traditionally pretty uptight, and not particularily religious, so this guy became somwhat of a phenomena. He used to travel and preach in tents and he was of Roma/Swedish traveller ancestry which I guess added to the controversy.

Ankha I interpreted ”massive troll” not as in - net troll/troll-lo-lo/memeguy etc - but as in, literally; a massive troll. It made it lose my shit, I lost my breath laughing so hard... Realized you prob meant a trololol-troll(?), maybe I’m too tired... anyway, 8 years later, this made my day

The lyrics to this song are actually quite romantic. I know he wrote them for another song. The first two sentances creates an nice image of your love for a person.
