Kent White, Instrumental Music Specialist at Stanton’s Sheet Music, presents “Adrenaline Rush” by Rob Foster, for Grade 1 Concert Band #50100155 at the Capital University New Concert Band Reading Clinic and Wind Band Invitational on November 20-21, 2015.
An absolute thriller for second-year players, “Adrenaline Rush” is both fun and energetic! The limited range will allow your students to develop confidence on basic 8th note rhythms, varied articulations (everything but marcato), and dynamic contrast. Add a short, legato B section; a tied, off-beat syncopation on the “and” of 2; and a woodwind counterline for a piece full of interest and musicianship.
We are playing this in my 6th grade band (I play French horn) and personally 1:56 is my favorite part because it’s fun to play and it sounds great
