One of the most brilliant SF novels of all time. Christopher has an amazing gift for storytelling and writing prose. I only wish that novels like this that deserve awards would actually get the honor and recognition.
I read EoS in January, I devoured it, the novels, novellas and stories up to DiW. My limited human memory and adult life urged a summary. This is so appreciated. I'm trying to catch up for DG, it's a honour to be a part of Hadrian's journey while it's embossed in literature's history. Thank you from Sweden Christopher, "far beyond the sun" plays non-stop at home now.
Just finished this book truly the best book I've ever read. This resonated with me on a such a deep level it's had an impact on my life for the better. I liked this book so much I procrastinated in reading it for fear of finishing too fast. I could sit with paragraphs in this book for a half hour after reading them just churning in my head. This book has the best imagery I've ever read and if done right I think this would be an all time great tv show. Thank you so much for al you do Chris.
started Kingdom today after taking a break for over a year, and remembered you made these! I took a year off of my typical reading to go back and read a lot more classics and man, these books really hold up as some of the best prose ive ever read.
Sitting here waiting for Kingdoms of Death to be delivered any minute now. Just wanted to say congrats on release day and I can’t wait to dive back into this world you’ve created. Just finished 5th Head of Cerberus and your writing is some of the only I would trust to follow Gene Wolfe. Cheers man!
I hope the new level of contact between authors and readers and "off page" updates like this will lead to less recapping in series like this. I didn't realize how repetitive the opening chapters of the Wheel of Time books were until my most recent reread.

Sounds really good. I can hardly wait to start reading this series. I'm about 3/4 of finishing John Gwynne's The Faithful and the Fallen. Then I've decided to take a little break and start reading Empire of Silence.
The Faithful and the Fallen and Sun Eater are easily 2 of my favorite series! Hope you enjoy the rest of The Faithful and the Fallen and the current Sun Eater books as much as I did!
