That male nurse outfit of Patitucci...and Gambale's Matrix trenchcoat... Those were the days,,, and this is musicianship at its best!
I love how John Patitucci combines grooving and walking bass lines in his slap technique, amazing!
"Beneath The Mask" is still my favourite Elektric Band album, seeing this performances just reinforces that.
A wave goodbye......RIP CHICK!
Thanks for let me see beneath the mask...The same year that Miles passed away...The same year I was born....
I'm listening with enclosed headphones on and
I can tell you the sound is amazing.
"To The Stars" Chick, go show
them what it means to shine.
R.I.P. My Man.
Peak era of musicianship, musicallity, you name it
I just can't believe I'm watching this concert again! The musicianship on display here is out of this world. The way they seamlessly blend different genres and styles, from jazz to rock to fusion, is truly awe-inspiring. The compositions are complex and challenging, yet always catchy and melodic. Thank you, Chick Corea and the Elektric Band, for this incredible work of art! It also must have been such an honor for the musicians to grow their musicianship with Chick. People who love melody will never forget about this music.
RIP Maestro Chick Corea
and FUNK!
Well, that was utterly magnificent. I wish Frank had been given more solos, though!
ESTOS SI SON MUSICOS EXELENTES
Illusions is just unbelievable
All monsters. RIP the big boss of fusion
Fantastic concert from the Elektric Band at the peak of their musical creativity putting on an unbeliveable performance as only five outstanding musicians of this level can.
RIP my hero Chick Corea and thank you so much for all of the brilliant music you gave us.
Who is that one cheeky disliker on this brilliant video
It is so sad to think there're no more Chick Corea Elektric Band with us... but we have this jewells at least. Thanks for the video.
thanks for the remaster. I grew up on his music, I cried last year when I heard that we, the whole world, had lost such a legend... Mourn...
Man. Im sure I can listen this concert all of the days of my life.
It's just so out of this world how every instrument is a concert by itself, and at the same time they just add the perfect portion to this magic music.
Frank Gambale with hair!!!!!
gracias
Beneath the Mask - very Milesesque!
It's been in my playlist('always watch') for a while!
os melhores musicos do mundo do anos 90
Excellent! Thanks for sharing. Patitucci and Weckl create magic during Chick's solo on 99 Flavors.

I think this is a performance that I enjoyed live, in Lorca Spain in 1991 - can anyone confirm the location of this event?
Chick was born in 1941 so in 1991 he was 50 years old
Wowwww
you know your math!
Does anyone know if this specific concert was put on vinyl?
I don't think so but there was an album beneath the mask that has all these songs
I saw a show on this tour, at the Cubby Bear in Chicago on 11/07/91... does anyone know where and when this was?

For a while I thought some SURGEON is playing bass coming right out of the theatre post surgery.
12:52 Spot Bill Gates in the crowd.
The video quality is so poor that nobody in the crowd is recognizable.
