It's not the ranking that bothers me. It's just know one gives him respect because he has cost the cowboys games in past years and always has choked at the wrong times. But when you look at what he does it kinda makes me mad when people call him overrated and hate on him. If anything he is underrated. I just think he deserve more respect. People say "he sucks because he hasn't won a ring" well think about all these Qbs who would still be a great QB without a ring. Rings don't always determine how good you are rings come from a team not a player.
Exactly. Romo may have his bad days, but when he can produce it'll usually lead the team in the right direction. Dallas is mostly an offense team with gems across the o-line and running backs. If the team keeps working where it needs work, we'll definitely see one more ring to tie with the steelers.
He's got more 4th quarter comebacks than any other QB in NFL history not to mention his QBR only ever being rivaled and challenged by Aaron Rodgers. Also is the most accurate QB of all time and either the best or top 3 touchdown/interception rating.
I'm not afraid to say that romo is the best qb to put on that Dallas uniform. Both Aiman and Staubach have said that he is a better QB. He has had more comeback wins than any other qb since starting in the League. He holds every Dallas qb franchise record. He has the second best qb rating of all time. What a lot of you idiots don't understand is that it takes a team to win a Superbowl. I am positive that if you were to have put Romo on Troy Aikman's team, he would've done a hella lot better. He had been carrying this team since starting. Without him, we wouldn't win more than 5 games. Sadly the team around him was never a Superbowl caliber team which held him back. He is the most scrutinized player in the NFL unrightfully so.
dallascowboys1111111 I would wait on that. I would say he is the most talented QB to have put on the uniform, but not the best. Roger Staubach is one of the greatest QBs to have played the game (part of me says he was the best over Montana because of the talent decline in the 80's and then Joe was helped more by the team as opposed to the team being helped by Staubach). Aikman is one of the most accurate QBs to have ever played the game behind Kurt Warner. I think you gotta take in consideration the fact that they have something Romo doesn't, yet (he will before his career ends). After that, be hard to debate anyone being better.
FuckingHateTwilight Not really. the secondary has been absolute garbage since 2009. I don't think it was charlie batch who threw that game winning touchdown to holmes in SB 43. Big Ben is 9th all time in pass efficiency also.
R&A GAMING stop making excuses romo was injured all season. watt was a beast all year if he was so injured then how did he blow past tyron smith arguably the best individual offensive lineman in the entire league? romo got him. he does it to everyone
Since my Dolphins suck and have no QB, I'm rooting for Romo and the Cowboys to win the SB this year. They are playing well without Romo right now unlike last year, if they can keep up and Romo can come back after the bye week, he can take them to the SB
SWAGGY P Well yeah, Rogers did win and he deserved it too, but Romo had better stats, and that's a fact. If you have better stats than the MVP you've gotta be pretty fucking good
Diego Perez Honestly, I'm a Lions fan, and I'm not too salty about the loss that we had. But, Romo has the best O-Line in the NFL. And not to mention Dez. So, he deserves some credit, but if any QB had that O-Line and that WR they would do amazing. However, he did play some games with back problems. So, yeah he deserves credit.
Diego Perez I never said that. I mean his stats would be worse. Just like if Stafford didn't have Calvin his stats would be worse. I did not mean to offend you. I mean did you even see the rest of that comment. Also, you didn't quote me correctly. ;)
Tony romo has never experienced a loosing season. His worst (during rebuilding yrs) was 8-8. And he was the only reason Dallas had ANY business playing in those NFC east title games. Guys like Drew Bree's, Phillip, Rivers ,Matt Ryan, eli manning ect have lead teams to loosing seasons however, in those same "rebuilding" yrs for their respective teams. Also Romo has never lead the league in ints *cough* (Eli...Rivers). And also has NEVER HAD a QB rating lower than 90 in a season, and always completes 60% and above for passes. When he is compared to other QBs, notice its always roger, Peyton, ect.?
Eli Manning I love it when Giants fans want to brag that Eli, a NO.1 OVERALL PICK IN THE DRAFT, is better than Romo, an UNDRAFTED player from a Division II school. Really? Shouldn't he be better you dipshits? Isn't that what a No.1 overall pick is supposed to do? Play excellent and lead your team to a championship?
LAST OLYMPIAN if you noticed tho, that team made a push after Garrett gets the job. If you look at how they season played out a healthy romo gets you 2 more wins. Kitna was trash
Tony Romo was and always will be the best quarterback Dallas ever had. He played some games hurt an even won those games while hurt. He was so underrated to bad he didn't get to the super bowl
Agreed he made what many consider the best defensive player in the league look like a high school player. The one against Seattle on 3rd and 19 was better that year though.
Romo's is the only Jersey I have. My son has a tyke Aikman somewhere packed away. Too bad he's been surrounded by inept coaches that look like they game plan like they're allergic go Gatorade.
Most under appreciated top Qb in the league. I don't watch many Dallas games cause im a Texan fan but I will say he is absolutely awesome in 2 minute drill situations. When he's hot, the ball moves up the field with ease.
As a giant fan I must admit Tony is great and stats do back that up. He is clutch and is always a threat to spark a 4th quarter comeback. Yet he isn't always consistent with that clutch gene, in huge games especially week 16 NFC East division games he seems to come up short.
People still can't realize Romo is an elite QB after all he's done the past two years... so what if he has no ring? Rings are a team effort. Not a one man accomplishment. Besides, y'all praise JJ Watt and he has no ring. Hypocrites...
I hate how people treat Romo Like trash He was a Free Agent and worked his behind Every day and ended up being a starting qb For dallas He deserves a ring for his determination and his will to never give in.
Tony Romo your peers robbed you because you don't have a super bowl yet but obj is higher and is hyped because of a catch? Dez has had waaay better catches than that. Drew Brees better not be ahead of romo or Eli
OBJ is overrated and he got so many yards cus he the only weapon Eli have and Eli always throw to him and his catch was the only thing that made him famous
Nhat Kai That and the fact that he had one of the most impressive rookie seasons ever. 12 td's and over 1300yrds in 12 games, in your rookie campaign is not overrated..
This past season showed how big of a difference it makes when doesn't play due to injury. The only team he lost to that year was a great Carolina team. 3-1 with Romo. They only won one without him and lost all the other games
Troy Aikman said in an interview that he would rather have the SB wins than amazing stats any day. I also agree with him on that, it's the whole reason for the season
Troy aikman was surrounded by one of the most stacked teams in nfl history. It’s why he has as many as he does He was really good but not great on that level individually

Why everyone think he is overrated?! Just keeping saying that he might take my team to Super Bowl and prove everyone wrong than eat your own words. I believe my Dallas Cowboys can win a Super Bowl before this decade is out. Believe my Dallas Cowboys!
When anyone says that Romo was overrated, just point out a few facts. When he retired, he had the 4th best passer rating in history. When he retired, he had the #1 passer rating in history. During his time, no one had more 1,000 yard receivers and it isn't even close. (Even while missing 2 seasons) During his time, no one had more game winning drives. Im sorry but is it to hard to be great when you have the best offensive line protecting you and having the best running back and one of the best receiving cores too help you seems like any Qb would be great then
Tony Romo is the most underrated QB in the NFL and maybe even the history of the NFL. It's embarrassing that they put him at 34 with the season he had last year. He should be a HOF QB in the future, but he'll probably get disrespected on that too just because his defense has always been sub-par, it's a team sport guys...
Tony Romo should have been top 3 because he was in the top 3 in MVP voting and if that catch against the packers wasn't overturned he would have beaten the seahawks and made it in the superbowl and won
i should of been Mvp that year....i only lost it because apparently if your name is not emmitt smith and your a Cowboy you are disqualified. Im the only QB to have the highest passer rating and NOT win the MVP a year that a QB won the MVP ( Rodgers) I CALL BS
Romo has only gotten better since 2011 when they started building the team around him. If you look at his play since then, he's been better than almost all quarterbacks except the Top Tier guys (Brady, Rodgers, Brees, P. Manning). 2014 proves it. He was in the Top tier last year
I always thought Tony, when he was on it, played just as good as any of those guys Plus he has that uncanny ability to escape pass rushers in the pocket makes him top tier in my opinion
Romo was ligitimately in the running for the MVP and was ranked #34? He lost he MVP to a guy (Rodgers) who didn't throw TDs as the same rate, had a lower completion percentage, and lower passer rating, but only threw 4 ints all year. Meanwhile, the RB who had a career year because of Romo was #4 on this list. Seriously, did anyone watch Romo play??!?!?
Tony Romo is a good qb this season they couldve been better but Tony shoulder, he has learn not to throw as many interception and to not have tunnel vision and has learn to scramble out of the pocket and throw amazing touchdowns they cowboys need better running back cause in my opinion they have the best OL in the league
49ers fan and I think Tony Romo is a bit like Peyton Manning. They get good stats almost every year and can carry the offense while surrounded by good players. But comes clutch time they might choke a bit. That being said if my team faces 4th and 2 I'd much rather give the ball to Romo rather than Colin Kaepernick.
Brian Henderson Manning was the main reason why Colts had a top offense for all those years. He was the guy that "masked" all the flaws in that team, and one could say that made him put to much pressure on himself when play offs arrived, which made him have some bad "one-and-done" appearances. Though Manning has still been to 3 superbowls, which is amazing in it self. The best game-manager this league will ever see, no doubt.
Uh you u act like he wasn't one of the best in his prime and a veteran so he knows more about the game than anyone in this comment section about players
now look where we are without romo still think he is horrible now haters will say yes of course but this nigga is a fucking beast hurry up and get healed romo
Unbelievable, one of the best QB in the league and still doesn't get the respect he deserve.
lil3ric88
I'd say being the 6th(?) highest ranked QB is enough respect.
If the team keeps working where it needs work, we'll definitely see one more ring to tie with the steelers.
lmao he's not the best he's just famous for being dallas qb
He's got more 4th quarter comebacks than any other QB in NFL history not to mention his QBR only ever being rivaled and challenged by Aaron Rodgers. Also is the most accurate QB of all time and either the best or top 3 touchdown/interception rating.
How does a guy finish 2nd in mvp voting get called only the 34th best player in the league? The overlook is real.
Cuseball121 he should of been MVP that year and at least made the NFC title game!!!
Because this list is voted by his peers, not the media, and consequently means far more
I'm not afraid to say that romo is the best qb to put on that Dallas uniform. Both Aiman and Staubach have said that he is a better QB. He has had more comeback wins than any other qb since starting in the League. He holds every Dallas qb franchise record. He has the second best qb rating of all time. He is the most scrutinized player in the NFL unrightfully so.
Agreed.
Damn bro I have to agree with that. 💯
And you're starting to see the effects of a nice squad building, the record is reflecting that.
you sir, are a genius
dallascowboys1111111 I would wait on that. Tony Romo is no doubt one of the best quarterbacks alive
Dez Caught The Ball!!! Crime For The Century For Romo!!!!
In my opinion dez bryant got the ball fumbeled it and recoverd the ball
Yes now that I look back at it he caught it, then Fumbled, then recovers
***** he caught the ball and got possession then fell and he fumbled then recovered it
***** The ground can't cause a fumble. He was down but didn't maintain possession throughout the catch making it incomplete.
mbunny87 And the refs picked up and obvious PI flag on the Lions a week before, so justice was done
He is not overrated. More like underrated. Yall talk crap about him and then he gets the job done.
Jared Sirek He's a bit of both, he gets the job done in the regular season not the postseason or week 16 NFC East title games.
Where's his RING??
Saul Torres only 6 RINGS will come out my Ass Jajaja
BlkAuDiS401 refs helped with your last 2 so you only have 4 in most fans eyes. Tainted
@@BlkAuDiS401 A ring is a team stat. Romo literally broke his back carrying the Cowboys and they thanked him by sabotaging him time after time.
Tony Romo is better than Dak Prescott, he is just more injury prone.
El Roberto Duran they are 2 different Styles of QBs
Well we still dont know if dak will be injury prone once he's older
Anybody with the O Line that he had would of been just as injury prone
Daks won the nfc east twice already in 3 years romo could never
Dc214 u serious? Lol romo did exactly that. He even made it to the playoffs 3 out of his first 4 seasons playing
Romo and Roethlisberber are so disrespected its not even funny. Both should have been in the top 20
FuckingHateTwilight You need to quit whatever drugs you're on.
FuckingHateTwilight Not really. the secondary has been absolute garbage since 2009. I don't think it was charlie batch who threw that game winning touchdown to holmes in SB 43. Big Ben is 9th all time in pass efficiency also.
+FuckingHateTwilight Every team that wins any Championship in football has a good defense. Seattle, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, NYG etc.
+FuckingHateTwilight Even college. Alabama, Ohio State, Florida, Texas, USC. just to name a few.
+FuckingHateTwilight because a lucky pick
If you can break away from J.J WATT then you are a good escape artist and a great qb
Yep.
Cameron Wilson Do I know you from somewhere?
Prime jj too
He broke a tackle from jj watt you know that's a QB
Watt was injured and romo is trash
super epic gamer watch best Tony Romo scrambles it might change your mind.
MrMadeye2020 okay keep in mind I'm a Texans fan
R&A GAMING stop making excuses romo was injured all season. watt was a beast all year if he was so injured then how did he blow past tyron smith arguably the best individual offensive lineman in the entire league? romo got him. he does it to everyone
if the narrator says MVP caliber season how df is that not even in top 10
Wondering the same thing...he was spectacular last season. I believe hw finished with highest QBR
Exactly
Shaikh GInobli because it was all dezz dez dezz
oqihouqiop how?
Thomas Ryan because dez could always bail him out dez had 16 tds this year you can just throw the ball at dez and he'll catch it
super bowl 49 would belong to the dallas cowboys if it wasnt for that bad call in green bay.
no Romo suffered a hangnail putting him in the hospital for weeks
schloughed lol
Dang Romo....just cant get right! This is our Superbowl season with or with out Romo. #CowboysNation.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Since my Dolphins suck and have no QB, I'm rooting for Romo and the Cowboys to win the SB this year. They are playing well without Romo right now unlike last year, if they can keep up and Romo can come back after the bye week, he can take them to the SB
jacob cass 6-1 hahahahaha
jacob cass Romo is not trash, he's elite and Jones needs to put Dak on the bench where he belongs so he can learn after Romo. Romo is not done yet.
greg trust Jerry ain't making the decision. A good coach would not bench Dak at this point.
Most underrated QB in the league. He is just one of the most unbelievable players I have watched. I still say he was the MVP.
Best QB in the league last year no doubt. Should've been top 20
Best qb? Hell no
***** Manning was shit the second half of last year.
SWAGGY P did you not watch the video? He had the best completion percentage and best passer rating.
Tim Gehrsitz yeah lets look who won the mvp hmmmm
SWAGGY P Well yeah, Rogers did win and he deserved it too, but Romo had better stats, and that's a fact. If you have better stats than the MVP you've gotta be pretty fucking good
Should have been top 15 for sure
Top 10 dude
+Frankie Caputo top 15 worst qb's ever
+Biff McBulge Haha! Funny Lol!
+Biff McBulge Tony romo haters 😂
Your funny
Romo is truly underrated it's not even funny smh
He is trash
super epic gamer you r dumb.
22 lions fans disliked, give this man the props he deserves smh
Diego Perez Honestly, I'm a Lions fan, and I'm not too salty about the loss that we had. But, Romo has the best O-Line in the NFL. And not to mention Dez. So, he deserves some credit, but if any QB had that O-Line and that WR they would do amazing. However, he did play some games with back problems. So, yeah he deserves credit.

Underrated and I'm not even a cowboy or romo fan
Tony romo has never experienced a loosing season. His worst (during rebuilding yrs) was 8-8. And he was the only reason Dallas had ANY business playing in those NFC east title games. Tell him to get some rings bro lmao. Bonus points if he can beat brady ...but that will never happen lololol Zzzz
datone9
Romo went 1-5 starting in 2010. He was going to have a losing season if he didn't get hurt.
Eli Manning
I love it when Giants fans want to brag that Eli, a NO.1 OVERALL PICK IN THE DRAFT, is better than Romo, an UNDRAFTED player from a Division II school.
Tubbier Wombat they rallied and went 6-10 with Jon Kitna. Let that sink in. Again romo was in a zone that yr. Would have rallied
Tony Romo was and always will be the best quarterback Dallas ever had. He played some games hurt an even won those games while hurt. He was so underrated to bad he didn't get to the super bowl
2:05
Something no other QB could do nor will ever do
Chris E False
He was injured
Agreed he made what many consider the best defensive player in the league look like a high school player. The one against Seattle on 3rd and 19 was better that year though.
Let me tell you that Andrew Luck had also did what he had done
Dak did it
Romo's is the only Jersey I have. My son has a tyke Aikman somewhere packed away. Too bad he's been surrounded by inept coaches that look like they game plan like they're allergic go Gatorade.
is your jersey made of glass?
most underrated player all of time
Most under appreciated top Qb in the league. I don't watch many Dallas games cause im a Texan fan but I will say he is absolutely awesome in 2 minute drill situations. When he's hot, the ball moves up the field with ease.
Romo is just Romo.
That is truly the best way to describe him
And he’s better than your QB
when romo is leading a game winning drive, I feel comfortable knowing hes verrry likely to get the points he needs to get that W.
In Romo I trust!!!! Most underrated and under appreciated ever.
He is finally getting the props he deserve, when all along he has been a top quarterback in the nfl for years!!
I have to say as a Redskins fan ,he is underrated
Romo should’ve been #1 on that list after that season. Dude was the real MVP that year.
He led the league in yards/attempt, TD %, and passer rating. And finished 34th in the popularity contest.
Does anyone know the music that plays during the sequence of Romo leading the Cowboys to victory over the Lions?
With just one super Bowl. Romo would've been the Goat.. Allen iverson of the NFL
Sucmadic Babcock sadly..
Romo is awesome!!!!!
As a giant fan I must admit Tony is great and stats do back that up. He is clutch and is always a threat to spark a 4th quarter comeback. Yet he isn't always consistent with that clutch gene, in huge games especially week 16 NFC East division games he seems to come up short.
So you mean the 4 time that week 16 game happened right?
People still can't realize Romo is an elite QB after all he's done the past two years... so what if he has no ring? Rings are a team effort. Not a one man accomplishment. Besides, y'all praise JJ Watt and he has no ring. Hypocrites...
and Barry Sanders has only 1 playoff win ( against the cowboys ironically, the year before the trippletts won their first superbowl)
Thank god he got himself
together in 2014, I really
hope he does good in 2016.
'No one thought that they would make it that far in the season' Bs I had faith in my boys. Romo deserves way more respect! #Dc4L
What is that music they use in the background
Every time I see that play against GB, I'm 100% convince that it was a catch.
And now, 4 years later it was confirmed lol
when your team's QB comes off after 1 back injury, 2 shoulder injuries, and still plays during the game call me back
Man I miss romo 😭
Especially that game
I hate how people treat Romo
Like trash
He was a Free Agent and worked his behind
Every day and ended up being a starting qb
For dallas
He deserves a ring for his determination and his will to never give in.
Fair ranking in my book, he'll be in the top 15 after this next season.#WEDEMBOYZ
HELL NO should have been on top 15 best qb in 4th quarter according to numbers plus percentage and completion wth nfl.
Shaikh GInobli Tom Brady outscored the rest of the league in the 4th...
***** lol I'm biased
Romo retired with the best 4th quarter/overtime passer rating in history.
Tony Romo your peers robbed you because you don't have a super bowl yet but obj is higher and is hyped because of a catch? Dez has had waaay better catches than that. Drew Brees better not be ahead of romo or Eli
932001quietstorm
ODB averaged 108 yards a game and had 1300 yards in 12 games.
***** This isn't about OBJ vs Dez. It was about the OP saying OBJ was hyped because of a catch.
OBJ is overrated and he got so many yards cus he the only weapon Eli have and Eli always throw to him and his catch was the only thing that made him famous
Nhat Kai That and the fact that he had one of the most impressive rookie seasons ever. 12 td's and over 1300yrds in 12 games, in your rookie campaign is not overrated..
havso23 But he should not be ranked higher then Tony Romo FACT!
#ThisyearisourYear ☆ #AmericasTeam #WewillRiseAgain
This past season showed how big of a difference it makes when doesn't play due to injury. The only team he lost to that year was a great Carolina team. 3-1 with Romo. They only won one without him and lost all the other games
Go Cowboys!
Best team
Trash
Watching this in 2023 and still can’t believe Romo isn’t respected
DALLAS COWBOYS SUPERBOWL 50 CHAMPIONS!!!
Keep dreaming my little friend
Keep dreaming
+Original6Productions exactly
I was wondering what took them soo long 2 make this video!!! GO DALLAS COWBOYS; U WILL WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP THIS TIME!!! ROMO IS A KILLER!!!
Troy Aikman said in an interview that he would rather have the SB wins than amazing stats any day. I also agree with him on that, it's the whole reason for the season
of course he would say that, his stats are ass and he is also a closet homosexual
Aikman = 3 Superbowls, that's one more than Staubach. Even if he was gay, wtf does that have to do with anything?
Troy aikman was surrounded by one of the most stacked teams in nfl history. It’s why he has as many as he does
He was really good but not great on that level individually
Even the commentator said "an mvp caliber season" lmao
Tony room rocks
I still don't understand #34??? Are you kidding me? Romo was in the MVP talks.. Smh he'll always be underrated
BOUT TIME!!
Love him or hate, That boy put a move on JJ Watt!!!! cold blooded
Romo deserves to be in top 25 of 2015.
Tony Romo the best qb in football
Tony Romo should be higher and he should have a Ring!!!
#DezCaughtIt
#Cowboys4Life
How many starts did it take John Elway to win a Super Bowl? How many starts does Tony Romo have right now?
Tony Romo is arguably the best undrafted player of all time.
People always talk about how romo has the weapons, the o line, and the running back, but no one ever talks about rodgers's weapons in Cobb and Nelson, his running back in eddy lacy, and his stacked o line. Smh
Soooo were just not gonna talk about the hold on the left defensive end for the game winning TD
He GOAT of cowboys qbs
Dez Caught the Ball!!
anyone else remember when he threw the ball with his eyes closed
As a Buffalo Bills Fan, Tony Romo was the closest To The Superbowl The cowboys got to besides the 90's Teams , Romo was a Underrated Scrambling Brett Farve no doubt
prende la Vela for next season boys... we r going to take that Superbowl... praying to God🙇🙇🙏🙏
People blame one man for the teams lack of performance lmao its cool tho
I LIKE ROMO
Go Tony romo he is the best qb
Dez caught that.
Why everyone think he is overrated?! Just keeping saying that he might take my team to Super Bowl and prove everyone wrong than eat your own words. I believe my Dallas Cowboys can win a Super Bowl before this decade is out. Believe my Dallas Cowboys!

Real ones know
"How bout dem cowboys" ( I'm a cowboys fan)
Im sorry but is it to hard to be great when you have the best offensive line protecting you and having the best running back and one of the best receiving cores too help you seems like any Qb would be great then

Who came here right after Romo retired... just to reminisce
At least the NFL players know what a good QB is
Welcome to Denver baby
Tony Romo should have been top 3 because he was in the top 3 in MVP voting and if that catch against the packers wasn't overturned he would have beaten the seahawks and made it in the superbowl and won

Plus he has that uncanny ability to escape pass rushers in the pocket makes him top tier in my opinion
No matter what team he's going he'll led the team to win the super bowl but is his choice which team he go Texans or Broncos
Basically a broken back and still great, most unappreciated player ever
Agreed. I don't really like kaepernick, in my opinion he isn't a good qb
You do know that Romo had the most 4th quarter comebacks of any QB since he became a starter right? Dude is a clutch as they come.
ike taylor swear he knows what he talkin bout
Well more than you and he plays the game soooooooo.....your stupid
he jumps from one conclusion to another every interview hes in and btw he dosent play anymore so whos the stupid one?
Uh you u act like he wasn't one of the best in his prime and a veteran so he knows more about the game than anyone in this comment section about players
the guy was never one of the best he just wasnt bad he never stood out
He has one of the greatest passer ratings of all time, and he's number 34 xD
He has talent and heart, but he needs more consistency.
now look where we are without romo still think he is horrible now haters will say yes of course but this nigga is a fucking beast hurry up and get healed romo
they got ike taylor in everyone of the videos
Romo made the list!? What?!
You better believe it
+Steelas bro That's right boy. Underratedness at its finest.
If The Ref Didn't said it was complete pass The Cowboys will play against Seahawks and Packers will lose.
If you paid attention in English class this comment would've been readable.
Can you stop with English class bullshit? I'm getting annoyed with telling to type correctly.
Than type correctly than lmao.
If the refs would have made the right call in the wild card game. It would've probably been the packers and lions playing in the divisional game.
mbunny87 you are aware the cowboys and seahawks are bothe nfc teams right?
