You are absolutely right!! There are SO many layers that go into sustainability. It was honestly hard to make this decision because there’s so much you can’t run from and I feel I can’t do a well enough job. But taking a small step forward is better than nothing :) I’m certainly going to make my fair share of mistakes, but my main goal is to just talk about this issue!

At least for me I tend towards wanting something different seasonally or for an event but struggle to avoid fast fashion shops...so I check Vinted first before going, and then if Im bored at the end of the season I gift it to a second hand shop in my city :) I do have to say I am lucky to live in Europe so we have these vintage boutiques in all the city centers that you can access by foot from the nearest train stations😅
Okay but the thing is a lot of people don’t know that crochet can’t be done by a machine which means people HAVE to had made it WHICH MEANS the people who made it are probably severely underpaid people in sweat shops. If you buy crochet make sure it’s second hand or you buy it from the crochet that made it :)
