That ice barrier player really summoned all Ice Barrier synchros in an Ice Barrier only deck. I never thought such a thing was possible

If I remember right, someone figured out that's actually a bug with Law of the Normal, the nuke and discard are supposed to be simultaneous so they would have normally been sent to the graveyard.
That burn duel against Digital Bugs was maddeningly close. Shame it got matched up against a burn deck because the Rank 3 ain't even that bad

That ice barrier was brutal :( (yes im the windwitch gusto player). Still, playing the deck was a lot of fun, gusto has actually some decent cards.

@@matteoc83seems the only way is to play the old jihad otk, fiendish chain to control your opponent attack, call of the haunted breakthrough skills etc.

Why it took so long for CyDra to top? Then I see they were playing the cyberdark version... now I understand. How humble of them to play the worst version possible to keep alive until week 10.
Predaplant got banned within the first few weeks so no verte anaconda. Then galaxy got banned shortly after as well so no galaxy solder as well. Cynerdark was the best way to play cydras by far.
@@fari123 I play CyDra on a fun format against Unchained and Crystal Beast, no Infinity, 1 core, no verte (obviously), where there is Nibiru and more stuff, and still have many options to play the deck without the horrible cyberdarks.

And the funny thing is that a better cydra player lost in a mirror match. BTW yeah they played shitty cyberdarks but it doesn't mean you can't build a good deck with cyber /cyberdarks, literally half cards search for the other half so consistency is very high with new support you can easily combo into several negates and unaffected by card effects 5k monster (which one player actually did, unfortunately he got fortressed) but against other decks in this format unffacted by anything 5k monster is a big problem by itself, they would have to count on drawing kaiju to deal with that.
@@fari123verte in cydra is stupid, galaxy soldier is great but most players play just 2 which is enough, so losing 2 cards and having a format with basically no hand traps cydra should have topped months ago
Im surprised we havent seen Despia Drarklords yet, that deck is actually insane
i think it will be interesting if a season 2 of LCS happens to see how players optimize what to use and how earlier we'd see some decks that flew under the radar

Yeah this lcs was during the weekend after the pack with the new support came out
I mean even without it, deck is still way better than many things seen in this and couple of previous episodes, DW was a meta contender many times throughout the years, its just that they didnt have the right pilot

I am curious but if the Buster Blader archetype is banned and that i wanna use Toons, is Toon Buster Blader allowed since it is technically a toon?
It mentions Buster Blader. Any mention of a cards name that would work if it were in quotes on a cards effect disqualifies it; like, if a card said "Add an 'X' card to your hand from your Deck." The easy example is that, since Galaxy and Photon are banned, Galaxy Cyclone is illegal, despite being a staple spell with no effect related to the archetype.

as one of the 3 people in the game that plays darklords that game gave me cancer, htf you go bls when you have first darklord and morningstar in hand good god. rule number 1 with darklord, if you can tribute for morningstar you do, specially when you are low lifepoints and opponent have 2+ monsters.

I've beaten multiple top decks with barrier and darklord the issue these decks have is people simply are willing to put time and effort in to make them work people just want to win and thats it they aren't there to have fun. Imagine is tear and dragon link players gave up in the same way bird up players did.
