- Today we caught trout in the river and cooked it very tasty. Trout live in wild rivers. To catch it, you can use traps. I advise everyone to cook in nature. The taste is really much better than at home. And as always, cook with us!

@@Akashking909 not necessarily, the wood is dead and dried, after burning the ashes will contain nutrients and minerals to fertilize the ground. The energy to grow the tree comes from the sun so as long as we are custodial and care for nature like the man in the video it is okay.
He only took what he needs and put everything back in place. Love it

The fact that you dismantled the corral so that the oncoming trout could continue on their instinctual journey after catching enough for your meal brought tears to my eyes & mos def MATTERS! :-D I once watched a vid of a HUGE trout in the ocean USE A TOOL! & a tiny little coral reef fish do the same!
it was so nice to see the preparation of the traps, and then restoring the waterway, as to mantain the natural flow of water, nice video!
Im not buying it...They are pretty large fish for that small of a stream...I'm thinking he stocked them himself...then caught them for the video.

@@scec1194 Still misleading and the video was prepared for monetary gains. Been fishing a long time...the only type of large fish that I am aware of are in streams of that size in the states (Northeast / Midwest) are suckers that make their annual migration up small streams in the spring to lay their eggs. As a youth we would wade through the creeks and into the small runs/streams with Coleman lanterns and gigs. Many nights we could gig 50 or so taking advantage of there large bodies...up to 20" sticking part way out of the water. They did not habitate the streams...merely come and went. As I think back I would never do that again as it is extremely cruel and was unnecessary.

Amazing! He blocks the stream - catches the HUGE trout by hand - then cooks them over an open fire. They look so delicious!! Then he restores the natural flow of the stream. Super! ❤

Wow...I've never seen trout traverse such small, shallow streams. Three-four inches deep?
No overpriced "survival gear" ... no camouflage costume... just a few basic necessities. Most important.. a simple good quality knife.

As a trout angler and avid fishermen in general (rod n reel) i love this me an my son wade streams n creeks all the time we will have to try this method just to say we did it whether it works for us or not he nore i will care but this is awesome!!!!

I did this as a child in a small spring fed stream in the woods near home in upstate NY. I didnt go to such lengths though. I simply tossed small stones into pools in the stream & watched where the brooks & browns would dart off to, to hide. I'd quietly approach in the water, cloud it up just a few feet upstream by stirring up the mud or sand on the bottom, then reach up under the bank & roots & feel for them while the water was dirty & they couldnt see my hands coming. 1 hand in front, 1 behind. Slowly gently close hands in around them, you can actually touch them without spooking them if you go slowly & gently then grab. Caught so many trout this way. Worked like a charm. I would dam up this 1 larger pool just below my treefort & put all of them there. My little slice of heaven at age 10. Thx for the nice memory.
