Of the tens of versions of this piece I have heard, this is the best. By multiple criteria. The technique to play it so seamless and natural is highly exceptional. No wonder Yundi is so famous. I hope that he can still play it like this.
With all due respect, Horowitz pounds a little too much for Chopin. But Horowitz is one of my top 3 pianist along with Argerich and the 18 year old Yundi(the year he won the Chopin Competition.
@@bennemann I have and although I like the beginning of his take on it more than Yundi's, the rest (the main piece) is a little too fast, definitely like Yundi's more
why there's no LIVE version of yundi playing this, WHY???????????????????????? I wanna hear yundi LIVE for this piece!! anyone know of any video pls lemme kno!! Thx!! ^^

There is a version of Impromptu by Horowitz at the age of 86. It is my favorite version so I guess age doesn't matter that much for pianists :)
@@hiexis It kinda does lol. Horowitz is just special. Most people past a certain age would just move onto other aspects of the music career.

So flowing and effortless; my favorite interpretation.
This is by far the finest interpretation of this work. Thank you for uploading it.
Woa Yundi Li's play is so amazing!
so even and clean.
His playing reminds me of Pollini. Clarity, great articulation, complete control over the keyboard.
+Michael Rosen The accuracy of Pollini, but also the art of Chopin. So in this piece, he is at his best. But, of course, this is not live.
I've searched all of RUclips, looking for who did it best, and here I am, searching no more
Have you tried Sokolov's?

amazing etude
This is Spring Wind!
the last pic of him ; so handsome guy
Love this rendition! It's No 11, not No 1., although it feels No. 1 :).
I like! Yundi Li is at par with Pollini when it comes to Chopin's etudes.
Has Yundi made a complete op 10 or op 25 album?
is op 25 n11 winter wind of chopin
At 0.23 it scared the shit out of me !
Suena igual a SHIGATSU WA KIMI NO USO .
Luz Paredes No one cares.
