My church collects from the members who can afford to help with finances, those who can't afford to finance the work help in other ways. The Government should protect the borders, and uphold property rights, that will limit the number in poverty and provide more cash in the pockets of those who WANT to help those in poverty. Families have first call on the finances, not the government. when the family is secure then you move to the wider family, then to the community.

The waiting list to be seen at a gender clinic at the moment is around two years. The cost of gender reassignment surgery is anything from between £10,000 and £20,000. For top surgery only, the cost generally falls between £5,000-£8,000, including aftercare, not including hidden costs. They are failing people who are on their Transgender journeys as not all trans people can afford to "Pass". This is so much more complicated. I, a cis woman for one am in no way worried or scared about my safety when in a Women's bathroom with Trans women. Shame on the tories once again! Pointing fingers at 0.1% of the population when 14% of the uk is facing homelessness, 15% are homless and hungry, the school systems and health systems are being drastically cut, no good mental health support suicide rates climbing up. This country and the people in it are suffering in too many ways.
Unfortunately labour aren't offering proper "hope" to fix these issues, but it will get the country back on track somewhat to try and improve. Much better than say, another 5 years of Tories

Yes, and? That doesn't change the fact that the whole debate forgets the fact that there are women out there that don't want to go through things, can't, other problems etc, and yet they somehow get excluded from the whole debate!
