WHAT A SUPER EXPLANATION. VERY GREAT JOB. YOU ARE MISSED KANYADANAM WHICH WAS MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE MARRIAGE.. ANY HOW YOUR CONCEPT. IS MAXIMUM SUCCESS.. GOWRI PUJA IS ALSO MAIN PART.. TELUGU VEDEO REQUIRABLE.. THANK YOU
Nice, this shows rituals are spiritual mixed with prevailing social practices that keep changing with time. Hence social part of ritual needs to be changed as per the era like grooms sister promising her kids in marriage to her brothers kids, cousin marriage is not longer a part of social practice today. Likewise in some marriages groom pretends to leave marraige n father of bride pleads to him to marry his daughter, etc etc.
It's not a generic Hindu Indian marriage. It's one of the type of marriage. These may be done in South India. In other parts there are different ways. Though almost 60% is similar.
@Pawan Kalyan as per my knowledge we Marathi people have "Mangalsutra" made up of gold and we don't use that yellow thread as a Mangalsutra. Special thing to mention here is in wedding we fill those 2 empty gold bowls of bride's Mangalsutra ( i don't know what that called in English ... We call it 'wati' ) 1 with Turmeric and 1 with Kumkum 😊 Also bride wears that Posterio-Anteriorly for 1.5 months ( i don't know why 😅 )
I'm confused about the part where the bride and the groom cannot step out of their homes until the marriage is complete. What happens if they do? Also, doesn't that mean that the marriage has to be performed at home and that they both need to be in the same home?
It means they can't stay together before they're married. Step out of their home doesn't mean that literally. It shows that the bride is still single. It means she still stays with her parents, she isn't her going to be husband's wife yet. I'm finding it difficult to explain 😂. Probably some experienced person could do it better. They can meet each other casually but can't be intimate yet( physically).

Didnt say anything about the red powder the bride has on her head
The red power the bride has is called the vermillion. It is nothing specific to just the wedding. It's used on a daily basis by most people
Hahaha hahahaha hahahaha
😄 I know it's great right!!
Bulshit
