Emma you are such a rock star. Me and Luke and Leyla (our dogs) are so freaking proud of you! I never had any doubt that once you had made up your mind to do this, you would! Still it was overwhelming to actually see you do it. I tried to move heaven and earth to get to London from North Carolina to cheer you on but family issues prevented that. My youngest son graduated from High school and I kinda had to be here for that (👎, jk). I was so yelling at my phone cheering you on the whole video and kept getting ready eyes but at the end I just bawled like a baby for at least five minutes!! I’ve always told you how much I admired you but this is whole new level. The charity is one very dear to me too and so is running. Several years ago while I was running in a similar race I sustained catastrophic injuries to my ankle when I still had six miles to go. I finished the race but I can never run again and have been through over 60 surgeries since. So you doing this means more then I can ever express to you. I just love ya girl and I’m so happy and so impressed! And you never have to prove anything to anyone the rest of your life!! That’s a thing!!😁👏🏻🍾♥️

Massive congrats Emma!! Got super teary during a few bits, brought back memories of watching my husband run the NYC Marathon a few years ago and just how proud I felt of him... so sweet watching Simon watch you too! xx

Hello Emma, just wanted to come on here and say congratulations. So glad both Simon and yourself documented your journey. I actually felt anxious for you when you explained how ill you had been the night before.
As always, so honest with how you were feeling emotionally and physically.
So proud of you and how much money you have raised. Amazing. And of course the support Simon gave you. Well done with his perseverance through the crowds - trying to keep up offered a little comedic relief to what was a very emotional video (so silly but I actually cried (for someone I don’t even know). I was just so glad nothing awful had happened and you made it safely to the finish line).

You seem a “make-no-fuss” kinda person - but I’ve got to make a fuss. I used to go to Boston marathon every year and cheer on the sidelines, but now I go to college in a different state, glad to know how much the cheering of the crowds meant!! Again, so so so so so so proud of you!!!
Oh I always used to cheer when Simon and I go and watch but now I know how much different it makes, so going to cheer twice as loud next year as the crowd really do get you through it. ❤️

6 hours 15 I couldn’t of cycled 26 miles in that time let alone run it. Awesome and such respect for your amazing achievement.
