I did all the initial radar tracking of this wonderful gun in 1986 at a northern firing range. (it soon replaced the complicated and unreliable FH70) I tracked 1000s of the 155 mm rounds over the ensuing years up to 2000. It very seldom 'failed to fire'!
lol you sure 80 percent are broken the rest of the 20 percent cant be fully manned you know its bad when you get fire mission bty and it means two guns !!
Yes it is ,I was in 1RHA, we were the first regiment to get them, when I saw one for the first time at Larkhill I was taken back by the size, and I did my advanced guns on M1O9 in 49 Fld Lippstadt West Germany.
@Worzal Gummidge you will never guess this, i did read it, yes or no was what i was looking for, BEA Systems do buy foreign made from outside the UK. And i do know the Answer to my Q:
A great example of a successful, common-sense 'off the shelf' weapons system. Shame it's getting old (out ranged by its Russian counterparts?) and is to be phased out. Good news is, it will still be around until about 2030.

Sold. Where do I buy one?
Q: is it British, made in England? or bought from some one overseas?
(But most important, does it have a Brew kit on board, this is Crucial.)

The german p2000 is much better
You're biased. They're both 155mm that are super accurate....
PZH2000 weighs 60 tonnes!! Typical German over-engineering.
Depends on the gun crews
Keyboard idiot ,
