- UBER RARE studio out-take recorded New York January 1970, BEST recording of Jimi's cool Blues freestyling. Set to a newly mixed background tape. Jimi in the last year of his life noodling and ripping it up in the studio, going voodoo on his Strat with some serious mojo medicine man hoodoo - I give you, "Lone Wolf Voodoo Blues" (January 1970) ENJOY!!!
Jimi Hendrix was a gift from God. His music and sounds still and always will resonate through the universe. Rock on Jimi 🪐💫☮️☯️🎸
Us hendrix fans aren't that stoned to know a real jimi track to one that is trying hard. Their will never be another Hendrix. He took the guitar to places no else could.
He made "god" walk off the stage. That should tell you something . nice playing though 🤙
I have to look that up, he made Clapton walk? Damn, I never knew that.
No DOUBT! No Jimi here.
jup. Thats very true. THere wont be one ever.
THis is seemingly Colin James. Hes really cool thogh. But its not Hendrix, no
@@davidwhite206Jimi came to jam with Cream, Eric wasn't expecting him or how well Jimi played Killing Floor, a song EC had not yet mastered. Yup, he just stopped playing + walked off stage. Had to be talked into coming back. Probably the very first "mic drop" ever!
👊🏽

@@olly8 I've heard it, Jimi was a beast for real!!
Not sir James I'm sorry but greatly appreciated ❤.
Do you think this is like Randy Hansen or someone like that?
Definitely not ,randy is a capable blues player with soul ,feeling and original direction...this unfortunately is one dimensional poor copy mostly repetitive major pentatonic beginner boxed cage. Peace
Had me going there for a minute 🎸
Dude, I love hendrix, he would of loved this...its yours be proud put your name on it you already put your heart into it
I'm Not quite sure what the previous "commentors" are referring to, BUT, I'm from the 60's..! I remember the first day I heard him on the radio, "the AM radio" and "I could Not believe what I was hearing".. There's so many that have come and gone, since Jimi left us.. So many musicians who LOVED this guy, that wanted to "keep Jimi's sound going" BUT, there was always something, some personal part of "their own style" that came through! Well, I just don't hear anybody else's style coming through this Time!.. If it had been SRV, you could here the East Texas part coming through.. Randy Hansen, was LESS of the Exact sound that Jimi had.. SO... just because, "YOU" never heard this song before, and I haven't either.. THIS GUY, on this "Unheard of song", Really and Truely, has "Captured Jimi"!! That's, "as far as I'm concerned"!!
Go listen to HEAR MY TRAIN the Berkeley concert then you know the TRUE JIMI !
You'd think this person would be proud to put their name on this instead of trying to act like it's a lost hendrix jam.
jo Karl, why r u so sr ....tell us ur wooddo
@@markuswuthpecker5272
Sorry but I don't understand your comment or question.
If I was that talented I'd have my name on it. That's what I meant.
Exactly! He's a great guitarist. Drop the BULLSHIT and be "the Finklestien kid" or whoever you are. Nobody is Jimi but Jimi. Nobody else is you either.
This is amazing, fist time hearing it
Nowhere as good as jimi...
Whoever played this sliped SRV's beaten to death favorite lick in a few times!
YES ! This is 💯 % Jimi A while back I stumbled on an entire 1970 NYC Bipolar Blues jam recording of over an hour long full of jams unheard. The Hendrix estate had it removed from You Tube. This was one of the songs on the recording. How anyone can say that THIS is not Hendrix is tone deaf
Ugg, the Hendrix Estate denies us of so much material, so frustrating. It was so much easier to find his rare material on vinyl than digitally. I hope that changes some day.
Buenisima version !!!. Irrepetible y unico. Rip.
After having listened to this track so long that it’s in my dreams his energy is right here right now, this is one damn fine guitar player. Wouldn’t it be a hoot if the player was one of those super talented European women. Obviously done the homework.
Could fool some of the younger generation, but not us old dogs.
Excellent 🔥🔥🔥
this is the 1ST time ⌚😊 I heard this song and I already like it just JIMIS music 🎶 😊 alot of songs he done was better than others and they shoulve of been longer songs what made the difference was a good PA system and when sound of music 🎶 😊 changed from mono 2 stero it was a true and clear sound better than be 4 OMG 3 5 2O24
Killer!! Gone in his prime. We will never know how transcendental he would have become. ✌
Hendrix ain't gone the only thing thats gone is your mind Hendrix Lives through everything and his music lives in time and space for you to say Hendrix is gone tells me you never understood him or his music move on wit that Hendrix is gone bullshit !
It’s not Hendrix
@@326vince what's not Hendrix ?
@@aaronday7627 this song is not hendrix. ^^ But its cool anyway. I thnk the artist is called Colin James. Really good blues guitarist
@@AlexWBKK This for sure isn't Colin James. Colin never covered any of Jimi's songs. I've seen Colin countless times and not once did he play any Hendrix. Colin was more into SRV than Jimi :-) Peace
0:34 to...pure music to my ears...
this is a great guitar but he's not jimi
Sounds like stevie ray vaughan to me
Plus it's a telecaster, not a Strat.
May be he is a she!
@@NorfLondonGardener nothing like Stevie at all
If its fake who is playing guitar on this jam i do notice the solos are very fast
Sounds like someone just bought themselves the Digitech Hendrix pedal... it's got the digital fizz. And the playing is way too try-hard for Jimi... he was the master and just way too cool for school!
Sound digital!!
DigiTech has a Hendrix pedal now?
They must have had to mortgage their company to license it! 😂
Buddy guy....was the main influence on jimis guitar style and his blues......
Some parts sound like Jimi . The proof is - who else is on the session ...
Go jimi go
There were some deep Reasons why the soul was Required at the time to play / work within that you'll never know except to feel whatever his intentions and interpretations were at the time , like the master said Just put on his records.
He's always been there..... within good Reasons. But don't forget that father time forever keeps Jimi Hendrix behind a curtain that the living can only imagine the delicacies that it took for Jimi Hendrix to be who he was. Hendrix would say " BE YOURSELF, I'VE BEEN THE BEST ME THERE WILL EVER BE BY GOD'S WILL. SO IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCED.....AND TALENTED YOU CAN REMAKE YOURSELF ....BUT ME ? ...I'VE HAD MY DAY ".
DON'T FORGET TO Make yourselves aware about your lifestyle and what Reasons your times are about. Peace.
great , the best ever
Jimi played alot of jams just play his songs you'll see the inspiration to others ,jimi was always experiencing with sounds the greatest.
Crazy how no two players are the same we know this isn't hendrix but it's good playing fair play
Certainly a very fine Hendrix-Influenced guitar player.
THE INCOMPARABLE MR JAMES MARSHALL HENDRIX. ALSO KNOWN LIKE SIR JIMI HENDRIX. HE'S THE BEST GUITAR PLAYER IN THE WORLD. FROM BRAZIL BEST WISHES TO ALL HENDRIX FANS AROUND THE WORLD 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thank you!! And to you, brother!!
It’s not Jimi. Good jam. But not Hendrix
Actually Johnny Allen Hendrix 🙋♂️
Uau! Amazing!
It’s an idea people, not a person, now move on and maybe try it out yourselfs
Man, it would've been awesome if this was Hendrix. It's still kinda cool, but the zest is lost if it ain't Hendrix. Hendrix copycats just shouldn't, you'll be found out by the hardcore fans. And it's also kinda of sacrilegious to try and put something out that you say is Hendrix but isn't. The real Voodoo will get you for that. Or let's say Karma. However you want to interrupt. Just remember one Hendrix, one style, and one soul. And that's Jimi Hendrix bro.
Yes, I think you are right! The real, actual voodoo will get those who transgression intentionally.
Do i got the Voodoo? :D Check out my Stuff... Lot of Hendrix inspired,.. i also like to play the Hendrix-Sound especially in my Youth... Now im trying to focus more on my own Sound and i think i got it.
"Hendrix copycats just shouldn't ..."
Who ever put this together is a hardcore Hendrix fan
You guys are tone deaf to huh. This was recorded 1970 NYC under the title Bipolar Blues Jam and there’s some really good gems 💎 in there but EXTREMELY hard to find 💯 % Jimi Hendrix for sure
This doesn't sound like Jimi
I feel the same
Nooo not Jimmy! Those licks don’t even sound like Jimmy!
Cool interpretation
A lot of comments say this is not Jimi it's a nice piece of music 🎶 but in the liner notes of this page it says it is from 1970 it must be the internet wouldn't lie
Peace ✌️
The feel just aint right.
Certainly not Randy Hansen.
Único ❤️ un saludo desde Córdoba España ♥️
I'd say, it borders over the realms of how hendrix was playing like during this period. It could be a fake, but maybe not. My old guitar teacher mike hutchins even pulled out a tape of this period, with him playing bass with hendrix in NYC. Its very similar 'mood'. You can tell he's straight, positive but maybe with a bit on his mind. It just could be jimi.
Man oh man!
Im so curious if anyone ever comes forward.
Surprisingly good, player should put his/her name on it.
After 50 years of studying the Hendrix technique, of course there are very many guitarists who can emulate his style...But why do they bother? If I had thatr level of talent, I would want to make my own statement!
It’s spelt Jimi Hendrix 💯 % Hendrix
This is NOT JIMI !!! first of all he was not so much of a shredder ! The more I listen the more I know it’s FAKE 😮 He was very melodic and made every note touch your soul !
The pics are great ( and I'm pretty sure their of) The Real Jimi...
Jimi played on Marshall amplificators and he leaves the rest.😊
le plus grand guitariste de tout les temps ce mec a un son de fou il dormait avec sa guitare 👍💪respect
🌟🔥😎🔥🌟😉😎
you can´t troll us
No not jimi not the range or sudden power.. A fan playing jimi not the man himself.
haha no not jimi...more SRV and metal influence in there
Fabuleux
Not Jimi but still cool. Who ever is playing should use your real name and make a album with a real band.
Boa valeu🙌⭐
Whoever is playing is bad ass 👏👏
Is that you on the guitar
The coolest man who ever lived
no doubt, immediately the sound and all the rest do not go ... why this thing towards fans of Jimi and the Master himself ? , however , the images are rare and beautiful ... Jimi forever...
This is jimi
The guitarist on this recording is very good but this is not Jimi, I must also point out that one does not need to impersonate Jimi to be good. This sounds like Joe Satriani.. Jimi was a great guitarist who respected other guitaristd, he would have liked this player.
It's me
That tone doesn't sound like Hendrix... not enough playing in the lower-end, not enough bass on the eq, the sound isn't "fat" enough, not "imperfect-enough", and not enough wah-wah peddle.
... may be using the wrong strings, too.
Not Jimi, not even close...
Average stoner: woow dude that’s hendrix 😱😱 best guitarist in the world
That's not Hendrix! You rubes!!
Nice Jam. But no verified Jimi jam rambles on continuously without expressive changes. Lots of speed, but no phrasing or vocalizations like Jimi attempted from early on in his playing. The picking is closer to a Johnny Winter pace and style.
Sounds like it's a Take ; YA !
This may not be Jimi, but he is a son there of.
Doesn't sound like hendrix at all. Still a nice jam sesh
nice try why lie give credit to ever this really is not bad
No Jimi Here :(
Immediately noticed its not hendrix playing
Not a bad track tho
Extraordinario
Jimi payed alot of riffs different ways you have to hear all of them to know this he even played his own songs different
0:40 is off hear my a train
It’s not Hendrix
@@326vince😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂
This is decent but it’s not jimi lol. He tried in the beginning
Hard to believe it's not him this is nowhere like him atall this is some back ally boy playing something else.😊
Not Jimi. But you can play the blues with pizazz!
Try as you might, it's hard to "jimmy the lock" when it comes to Hendrix. To be sure, this is excellent playing, however. Very fluid and expressive!
Not Jimi
Sounds like Ray Vaughn rather. More of a texan twang to his playing. That guitar doesn’t sound like Hendrix. Don’t know where you got that.
I agree, stevie s licks and tone
Yes, it stands out a mile
Yea but on the song stepping stone he has a Texan flare too
Interesting
This is not Hendrix. You can hear the wammy bar and Hendrix rarely used that.
Someone cooked here… maybe this man had the same idea I did
Randy Hansen maybe?
Guitar shop employee: “so uhh, what do you think? You want to buy this amp?”
Guy in this video: “me? Oh naw, I don’t have any money.”
Other than the fact it's not Jimi and the tone is different but similar it sounds like a jam similar to what Jimi did with Curtis Knight. Whoever this is they know what their doing.
O θεος της κιθαρας καλητερος στον κοσμο
Joya
“Lone wolf” is def a shout out to Eric Clapton! That’s how he referred to himself in the George Harrison documentary
I’m gotta say it.....it’s NOT Jimi.🤨
NOTHING TO DO WITH JIMI. Doesn't sound anything like him.
Some parts sound just like Jimi . Give the guy some credit .
Je ne reconnais pas jimi !! Where is it ?
Flabbergasted Freakishly
Yea I don’t think this is Hendrix the tone isn’t searing enough there’s no rhythm to the solos
Sia Lodato Gesù Cristo.
He musta been smokin’ soma that good grass.lol
UndErRated undergrounds,,
this isn't jimi.. sorry
How do you know?
@@carlosrodriguezgarcia8103 it's easy to identify, the player sound more like SRV... Still very good playing btw
LOL yer tone deaf as phuck
Janie will keep this up, but strike any actual Jimi.
Le meilleur et de loin
...nice one , hey ! but , who is playing ? lol come on 🙂
