I’m sorry, but this is wrong on every conceivable level and at the risk of me being hated not that I really care the adults telling this kid that she’s good when she’s not your part of the problem you are part of the problem, but the real cooperate is delusional, daddy because he’s been doing this for years. You don’t believe me. Look at the name, Shaffer Murray. He’s got a RUclips channel of literally nothing but this.
Have you watched any of the amateur “talent” on Stairway to Stardom? If not, there are loads of videos on RUclips. Check some of them out!
Ummmmm, so, yeah. I will say she owned it in all of the ways? But as we all know kids are mean and I hope all of this doesn’t spill over into her everyday life. I mean this song is about being brave and being free and she was both of those, in her own way. I grew up in a school, literally, my Dad was my principal in all of my grades so I have seen it all with kids and parents after school, right outside of his office, waiting for him to be ready to go home. Parents can be stubborn people about their children, walking around with blinders on. If she wanted to do this, would it have been worse to discourage her? I say we don’t know enough and let it all go and tell her she looked beautiful and was brave and free? 👍🏻

There are times you as a parent need to tell your child no for their own good. Children need to learn that you can't always win.
