- This problem is usually associated with bad or corrupted persist image partition on the phone. The video shows how to edit the firmware so as to flash only pesist.img into the device to fix the error.

Thank you, you saved my phone. It worked even if command 'fastboot oem edl' returned an error message, but the Qualcomm device showed in the device manager as the video. Also, I added persist.img as a filename in the rawprogram0.xml file as in your video (it was empty in the original one). Maybe this comment will help someone.
I use Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A (2/16) MIUI 9. After removing MI Cloud wifi and bluetooth not turning on. After this solution both funktion works well. Thenk you very much for you work man.

kawasaki ninja im now have problem sensor not work since i swap phone with my cousin its took longer boot after boot i install my daily app and using cpu z i found sensor is blank i was like wtf ? sensor blank i go to setting tap kernel version test that single test i found proximity compass gyro ir fail only work fingerprint

mrt dongle turn off the app Mi Account, so you can not log in. In order to return the smartphone to its original state, you need to flash it with the factory firmware using the MiFlash

Worked for me after changing some file names in code lines, such as persist.img was missing, last line in bat file was missing typed as it shown in vdo, device redmi y1, all sensors working fine now.
