    People living there were complaining for years about that building. Was completely ignored so isn’t hard to figure out who’s to blame is it?
    That council couldn’t give two F’s about any concerns leading up to this fire.
    A high rise recently went on fire near me and my friend with tones of health issues was right above it. Nothing worked ,sprinkler systems never worked either. Luckily people were awake at the time.
    Even more lucky that it didn’t have that cladding.

      What part of the construction industry. Are you qualified to make such a statement. The fire we were told was caused by an exploding propane bottle in the flats used for cooking. Not smart.
      OK, the fire service were wrong for advising people to stay in their flats. People are talking about the spread of fire. Not what caused it

      @Peter-sl6mf not true the fire was started by a faulty fridge which the inquiry stated was almost certainly a manufacturer's fault. The manufacturer then tried to claim the fire was started by someone flicking a cigarette into the flat from the street....the flat was on the fourth floor.

      @@MsCharlieBrown78 We need to be honest - across the board. Nobody remembers the occupancy levels in that tower block and the issue of many being there who shouldn't have been.
      I am all for getting the truth out there - and I also think the slimy local authority leaders, who have moved onto other highly-paid jobs (i.e: they don't give a f*ck), along with the people involved with the contractors, should be held accountable.
      However, let's see the truth of everything - no political correctness or ideological BS. Tell us the whole truth, and forget about "offending" people.

    • @MsCharlieBrown78
      @MsCharlieBrown78 11 дней назад

      @@Mike-tb5gj that's just it though.. the media spun the lies of people being there when they shouldn't have been. I'll never forget them trying to vilify the victims by claiming they were 'illegals'. All the victims who died lived in those apartments for years, and some had family members staying over. Having relatives staying over isn't and has never been a crime. But to top it off, the press then gaslit the public into hating the survivors because they needed homes to live in after. Their narrative was to express outrage that their temporary accommodation is being paid for by us. And boy did it work! The public eyes were off the real offenders and firmly on the innocent ones. Had this been a block of flats with just caucasian people, I know publics perception and the media narrative would have been far different. Whether you like it or not, we can't ignore it.

    All the elements shown in the illustration seems confusing visually but somehow designed as a whole can then specifically work in such a way that as each part can be blamed for its own part in what ultimately happens, it can pass on the responsibility to the next part in the chain and move it along. When it is in full swing it becomes impossible to highlight one central figure of blame. I think the government is able to visualise this system and use it and could be using it today in other areas and know that there is a chance of a tragedy in the future and this system can prevent anyone ever being blamed or imprisoned or fined for their own part. It seems the whole system is designed to dilute the blame and responsibility so if anything happens in the future everyone can get away with their own small part they play in the system. Example: I only made it so passed it onto.... we installed it but....they tested it, but we only filled out the paperwork so..... pass on the blame.
