Swing Republic's version of the classic 1928 song by Cole Porter LET'S MISBEHAVE featuring Irving Aaronson. This is taken from the third Swing Republic album called "Mo' Electro Swing Republic" (2015) OUT NOW. The video features crazy bonkers (pre CGI) and stupidly dangerous (and comic) stunts from the 1920s and 30s that we would not recommend you try yourselves!

I remember putting this on in the dressing room while my high school was doing the production of Anything Goes (that's where this song is from). It was perfect because since that show is set in the 40's, we ended up listening to a ton of electro swing just to get in the mood for the show. Plus this song is one of the comedy songs from the show.

You're incredibly lucky to have so much electro swing to listen to in high school.. all the young people have no idea how much they are blessed... i had to listen to This Love by Maroon 5 thousands of times a day in high school because they played it that much everyday my senior year in high school... Seems like you never heard a real swing rhythm in your live. Try to listen to some Royal Crown Revue or Cherry Poppin' Daddies.
Please, no. Every so often someone, apparently thinks he can improve a classic by adding percussion effects. It does not work. If you are going to ruin recordings, I am sure there are plenty of heavy metal recordings where your vandalism will not be noticed.
You are absolutely entitled to your opinion but what I find so strange about this kind of attitude, and the comparison to vandalism, is that these new versions change nothing about the original recording: You can still go and listen to that at any time, it's unchanged. This makes no difference to that. You could instead choose to see it positively, in that hopefully new people discover some great old music because of the remixes. Where's the harm?
@@FreshlySqueezed Actually, it does change the recording. It covers up some of the work of the bass player and it changes the balance betweent the melody and the rest of the orchestration. It is also intrusive. I want to hear the original, not a drum machine.

@@jameshorn270 it's not changing the recording this is just a remix, you can always look it up, this song isn't ruined, thats the whole point of electroswing [ I'm too tired to spell if this is wrong. ] it's supposed to make it abit different, doesn't mean it's changing the song, the song is still the same.
