I always enjoy seeing the scenery of other countries and the US has always interested me. You have such diverse and beautiful landscapes! Visiting the US is not really in my budget, so I'm enjoying the views through this vlog. :)
As I've traveled the US I have noticed that almost as soon as you cross state borders landscapes change so much! Each state really seems to have their own thing going in.
I cannot tell you how hyped I am for you to create your own library with that second bedroom. I am living vicariously through you 😭💛 Does that mean that *gasp* you’ll be able to buy a second bookshelf?!

That’s so cool, I’m from Fincastle, VA and know the mill you all staid at! And you are right-very rich and lots of history there! (A lot of the old historic marks are actually said to be haunted, so I’m glad that didn’t come up when you all were there!) 😅

One of the weirdest things about the usa for me, a European, is the fact that arkansas and kansas are not pronounced the same, also the fact that crossing into southern states immediately causes a rise in pick up trucks😂

I recently moved from NYC too (after 4 years of being there) and it's SO nice to have space/closets/laundry/etc. It's amazing what you become accustomed to in NYC. Thanks for sharing your journey! If you loved Educated I HIGHLY recommend The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. It's a similar story and a very engrossing memoir about her childhood moving from place to place with neglectful parents. The author is a journalist so it reads quickly too. One of my favorite memoirs and honestly books just generally.

Ohh I feel that drive! We drove from New Mexico to New Jersey in 3 days and then from New Jersey to North Dakota in 3 days. All in all was a good experience. Glad you guys enjoyed it and welcome to your new home!!
