Hi,
I cannot find any information about the settlement type. Is it physical delivery (booking of BTC for the margin posed) or cash settled?

it is physical delivery. pnl is calculated in dollars and settled in base ccy.

Do you offer only european style or american style option on deribit? I thought it was only European style and therefore it wasn't possible to close a position.

You can still close your position by buying back/ selling the option in the market
