It actually isn't hard. I don't know if you played it and I know this is years later, but this games ain't was inferior to rogue leaders. The tie fights would spawn as you turned and would line of for you to shoot them.

The Rebels had other Fighters in the area. Probably towed the B-Wing back to the overall Fleet. Plus by late 3 ABY the Rebellion while severely defeated after Hoth was in no way low on resources or war material. They wouldn't send out Fighters at all if they were too expensive to replace.

I just unlocked the Tie Bomber :D Love using it but the only drawback is its shields don't recharge. If it had the same regenerative capabilities as the Y-Wing it would be awesome to use on just about any mission!!

And because Disney are fucking assholes since Lucasarts is now reduced to ten people and all they do is keep track of their library and EA gets exclusive rights to Star Wars, they will never make a Rogue Squadron 4.
Do you just unlock the tie bomber for multiplayer? I have been at it for hours and haven't gotten the tie bomber for single player. I can't find any videos showing it being used in single player so I'm beginning to think it's just a multiplayer thing
Tris Blackshaw Most were converted into the Resistance troop transports seen in “The Force Awakens”. If you compare a B-wing with it’s S-foils closed to the Resistance troop transports in TFA you can see the similarities.

This may be a stupid question but how do you switch between using the Ion Cannons and the Lock On Missiles? Every time I try to hold the B button it activates the Ion Cannons crosshair and when I press the B button it just shoots without locking on.

Yoshio Sato Canon or non-canon the TIE Hunter is one of the most badass starfighters in the history of the “Star Wars” franchise. Turbo-fast rate of blaster fire, ion cannon, seeker missiles, s-foils and a design that looks even deadlier and more aggressive than any other TIE variant to date. Whoever created it for this game is a genius.
how do you unlock the Tie Bomber portion of the mission? i played this multiple times and unlocked it once, but i haven't been able to do it again. what do i have to do?
its a shame they couldnt get dennis lawson back to voice wedge with chris cox voicing wedge it changes character completely hell most of the lines of dialogue sound awful like most of it is copy paste from same missions in the game and more its like not much care went into this game
"yes my master, he is resourceful" -- wat. even as a kid I went 'wat?' it never made any damn sense given the dialogue. then again, this game was rushed, and it shows. still, fun game, if a bit too easy compared to the others, with superfluous ground combat that didn't really... work [it's just janky dangit.] but hey, you get to play around in an ATAT, which is probably a series first for star wars in general.
I actually don't like the B-Wing, give me a Y-Wing any day of the week. Although in this game, I'm not at all disappointed with the A-Wing or Jedi Starfighter.

bernard Li You need to qualify for a silver medal while doing that. You may not be getting enough kills or your shot accuracy might be off.
