I think part of the reason Louis's ability to pay attention to everyone is because he grew up with 4 girls around. So he learned to make them feel like he care about them equally.

I do think part of Louis’ ability to connect with someone for a few seconds, then switch his attention towards different people really quickly, stems from him being one of 7 siblings in a very big family. He thrives off that busy chaos and is able to connect and communicate with lots of people at once.

@@maxpbeaumont He is! The eldest of 7, 5 younger sisters and a younger brother. (Although he unfortunately lost one of his younger sisters a few years ago❤️) I definitely think it has played a part in his social dynamic within a group. He’s had to have been able to give each of his younger siblings his full attention at any given time, but also share that attention out equally between them all :) Always be that energetic older brother who has time for all of his siblings, from many interviews you can just tell how much his family means to him ❤️

It's surreal how Louis is a big extrovert and Zayn a big introvert yet they somehow were the best of friends :') Especially when sitting next to each other you can tell the differences of their body language.

Loved your analysis. Liam is indeed underrated. He's got a great sense of humour, has great connections with Louis and Niall and is basically solid and dependable. Niall is quite intelligent and wholesome, with an engaging laugh.
9:29 see that photo on Niall’s book? All of the boys love this pic and commented on it during another interview 😂 apparently the pic was originally very small size-wise but whoever was responsible for the making of the book enlarged it so that it fit two pages 💀
Louis looks so cute in it though hahaha. There’s a pic (also from another interview about the book) that the boys took while holding the book and having it open on their favorite page. 3 of the boys had THIS page open, the 4th boy had another page of another pic of Louis open. And only Louis had a pic of Niall 😂🤷♀️
i think i'd be interesting if you react to a zayn and louis interview, louis would always bring zayn out of his shell and you could tell zayn was super comfortable around him, he also mentioned a couple times that he was closest to louis and honestly their dynamic was amazing
also a narry (niall and harry) interview would be great too!

Niall can definitely be a leader if he wants. he's very chilled out, he doesn't use his energy when he doesn't need to. if there's something he really wants to say he'll come out and say it but other than that he just likes to sit back and enjoy and just go with the flow. i really aspire to be as carefree but the same time as caring as Niall. he does it all so perfectly its really admirable.
this is so true. I have noticed this so many times !! He can be so loud but at the same time, he is capable of just sitting back and being calm, when he wants to. I have also seen that he can also easily be the centre of attention when he wants to be, but other times he just sits back and lets others speak. He has an incredible sense of humour! I also always loved the fact that Niall almost let everyone complete what they are saying, especially Harry, no matter how long Harry took. That's why I think Narry interviews are the best

I understand what you said about Niall having a brighter energy. Like, even if it’s a bad day he’s still very much present. He doesn’t really show it as much as, say Louis. Louis is a very open person, if he’s having a bad day you can quickly see it. Louis can get dark and sad, same for the other three, but Niall is kinda always okay (it appears).
Louis always keeps the energy and the banter going. To me he feels like the glue keeping them a cohesive fun unit.
Louis was the heart and soul of the group. He might be fun and sarcastic a lot with all the banter, but he's also kind, loyal, caring, makes sure all of them are okay, if anyone seems down or off, he offers them extra attention or tries to cheer them up. He never gets enough credit for being more than simply the fun, energetic one. He was the one who had all of their backs regardless, and he always seemed to feel things the hardest, too, whenever something significant happened - happy, sad, disrespect to one of the others, etc.
Louis and Niall are the most fascinating to watch. Louis is just WHAAA all the time and Niall is so chill

Liam and Harry are both the most sensible ones in the group. They are the ones who actually try to pay attention to the interview when the others are acting silly. Sometimes Harry would ignore his bandmates when things get chaotic and just continue to answer questions or go on with interview/conversation. On stage he's more professional and focused as well. He usually minds his own business on stage and does his own thing why the bandmates are having fun or being chaotic.
As a person with anxiety, In One Direction, Harry to me didn't seem like the type who craved attention. He used to be quiet just like Zayn, Niall was really quiet as well-He just giggled alot.

They truly did build a family unit with one another! When I listen to you explain how each of the boys are acting, I can't help but to try and analyze myself lol. I think I'm a Louis for the most part lol.

Zayn was equally playful, mischievous and involved in all the interactions back in 2010 to prolly around 2013 but as they grew older and started to fully contribute in the music and song-writing and stuff, his creative inputs weren't considered as they "didn't fit the grand of what they were" and he said this HIMSELF that it started getting frustrating in the end [cuz his music genre is the completely different amongst rest of the them if we see the solo stuff] He always suffered from racism and all this started to take a toll on him later when he developed anxiety and eating disorder (he wrote this in his book) and that's the reason he was too reserved, so he left the band abruptly when it had gotten worse.

I remember seeing the first reaction of Louis and you saying that he's calm😂 I was like "What?"😂😂 Louis is just a ball of energy to the point where it can be hard to follow all his moves and reactions. But you're completely right. Louis is all about people around him

After all the interviews and some of the boys revealing how much they've suffered during these times. I just want to say that they're really good at hiding their struggles/pain and putting a cheerful upfront, espceially Louis and Liam.

Love what you said about Liam, he’s really jovial, a solid part of the group, he’s engaging and open. Directioners don’t usually acknowledge Liam, so he is underrated, but a gem all the same.

Zayn and Liam's moments are so underrated, there are so many their moments and I hope one day you'll focus on them, they're so underrated sadly.
It’d be wonderful if you analyzed in sequence the video diaries of when the boys were at X factor to understand how the beginning of their friendship developed ... it would give you an interesting basis to understand even better all the dynamics of future years! 🤩 And also for another very important reason: you said that Louis sets chaos for the group without ever having seen what Louis is really capable of 😂 watch the video diaries and you will know THE chaos

Everything you said about them is so true and accurate. I guess that's why people like them. Even if they're not into 1D, there's just nothing to hate about them since they stay grounded, stay down to earth and stay authentic. Even their personality is fun! It draws you in
All you need to know about Louis is that at the meet and greet he used to cross 'Who we are', which is a name of their book and write 'Who we aren't" or 'Who we could be' instead. If you ever thought where from all his problems come....

and quickly burned brighter than any one member ever expected. I think it speaks to their genuine upbringing they maintained their own
unique selves before branching out on their own. Who could have known their time on a reality show would allow them to burn as bright

really enjoy your videos. wonder if you'd ever do a vid on 1d's bandaid interview from 2014 - not a particularly long or fun one but imo there's so much going on there in terms of their communication/dynamics/body language, an interesting time for the band.
it would be amazing if you could do another 5sos reaction! i think their dynamic is interesting with luke being the lead singer yet ashton taking the lead in interviews a lot. i also loved the first reaction you did to them and seeing you dive into them more would be so cool :)

They're just off tour there and probably in the middle of promoting next thing and you just feel some of them are already very tired. Zayn seems quiet and I bet he's been going through a lot at that moment, he left a few month later. Niall's mixing events and dates, Harry's talking gibberish seems fun but I bet they're all jet lag, and it might be chronical at that time. Liam and Louis are defying my theory though))) The boys personalities peak through here. All those small things people might not notice but I usually do and I love this interview even though it pains me to see Zayn so distant. But at least they're real)
I think Zayn was feeling kind of squished in the corner cuz at one point I heard him tell Liam to stop moving so much. Then, he wasn't happy with the way the crew screamed at them. He just wanted to get it over with after that.

They are the best
I feel so bad for Zayn because over the years u can see how much he changed. At this time he was dealing with an eating disorder too and i remember how thin he looked and he looked like he was always in his mind and always anxious. The spotlight really doesn't go well with him. He got so much racism from the media and some fans because he was muslim and Pakistani so people called him terrorist and stuff. He went through a lot. I hope his anxiety gets better. He hasn't performed live since 2016, in 2016 he performed live and i remember in iheart radio performance 2016 he got anxiety attack backstage and he was throwing up but still went on stage and performed and then he cancelled a lot of his solo appearances after that and didn't perform again. Now he is just releasing music but mostly staying out of the spotlight. I hope he can find a way to overcome it:(

I really would like you to see them performing, just to see their confidence on stage and relationship with fans. I think that the “best song ever san siro where we are” is the video with more quality so yeahh if you want to give it a go!

I love Narry interviews. They seem to bring out the best in each other. I also love that Niall always let Harry finish, no matter how slow he was. On the other hand, Liam and Harry's interviews were always a disaster 😆
What you said about Niall at 5:41 was spot on. In one of their interviews for This Is Us, Louis said, "When in doubt, the answer's always Niall." And indeed, even after their hiatus, when they're being asked in separate interviews about who's the one they're closest to or whose music they like best, they answer Niall most of the time. I think Niall is their common ground.

You should watch the one where management turned of Niall's mic so Louis shared mics then gave him his mic and took the other one to Liam yto get it fixed then Louis, Liam and Niall left the stage and went down to the fan .then Harry joined them. Then they told management it's all or none of us and they would leave if that happened again.

11:27 Definitely. And not only about chaos. He's always the one telling the boys how they're supposed to do something like how to deliver their lines (if they are doing greetings), or how they enter a room for an interview, etc. And the boys listen to him.

Great reaction!!👍Very spot on re Louis looking and going in every possible (One) direction!! It then got me wondering whether I would be him in that scenario, because when I'm enjoying myself a lot in a group of ppl, I can get very chatty and slightly chaotic!!🤭 Although it has to be in a group of *very* funny ppl and - let's be honest - there aren't a lot of those around!🤷🏻♀️ That's why those of us who **are** funny need to be even more so!!!!! (all modesty aside!!!)🤡😅
