I think this speech is great example of her bipartisanship as a leader she speaks to the severity of the issue with strength and sternness but with compassion and empathy for the mistreatment of legal immigrants seeking asylum. One of Kamala's responsibilities has been to put that support back in place, and the result has been much less immigration from that area. Biden has gotten all of the attention, but Kamala Harris has gotten some things done. And if enough Republicans join the effort to truly fix the problem, a President Harris can finish the job.

And the Biden/Harris strategy to make the numbers appear smaller, has been to have the NGO buses whisk the illegal immigrants away swiftly, before the election to give the illusion of dealing with the humanitarian crisis that they themselves created. That plan, in addition to the release of multiple unaccompanied children to each unvetted adult who professes to claim them, has caused the Department of Homeland Security to lose contact with a half a million innocent children. What the Biden/Harris Administration has done to our citizens vis-a-vis their open border policy is indefensible. And even though I am an Independent, I find it truly remarkable that any American could falsely blame Trump and the Republicans for the crisis at the border in 2024.

This was an important speech. She really hasn’t communicated much of the border issue outside of (rightfully) blaming Trump for torpedoing the recent Border bill proposal. Call it “politics”, but this was a clear concise outline of what she wants to do. Well done. 👍🏻

Kamala Harris has been giving out lots of information for those that will listen. Go to the White House You Tube that tells about her 17 trips to 21 countries for meetings and summits with allies. Illegals in some places like California are getting free room and board at hotels, food stamps, free college education, 20% down on buying a home, medical care..the list goes on.
