Simply magnificent in every respect ! Thank you...
WITH EACH NEW DISCOVERY OF A GERSHWIN PIECE IS A TOTALLY NEW DISCOVERY AND AMAZING.
Magnificent and Blissfully moving!
Amazing. Have a peaceful year to everybody!
Fantastic velocity and leggiero cascades ! One level with Horovitz, Cziffra a.o. !
There are so many pianists on youtube who attempt to play Wild's transcriptions, but they all fall short of Wild's pianistic brilliance/virtuosity in their attempt to play these extremely difficult etudes.
More than just great. Fabulous! Alan in London
BRAVO -super
WALT WHITMAN COMES TO MIND WHEN HE WROTE "SOMEWERE ON A CORNER, SOMEONE WAITS FOR ME."
Wow, never heard that! Sort of like Art Tatum playing Godowsky,. Really nice transfer as usual.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
What great pianism! Alan in London
Шикарные этюды

👌
Is this a new issue of this performance? I don't think it's been available in CD. A later version recorded, I think, for Chesky is available.
It is from the LP. I’d check out Ivory Classics to see if there is a CD version. I believe it’s run by Wild’s partner and he has the rights now.
Embraceable You 13:37

@@rebeccadunbar5828 Thanks, Rebecca, for listing the pieces! I recognized them all except "Liza" and "Sombody love me." I did not know what a WONDERFUL/fantastic arranger/transcriber of standards Earl WIld was known to be. Just stunning arrangements for solo piano!!
Truly one of the greatest ever pianists totally in command of the keyboard in the humblest way.@@pianoman551000
