We attended Pete Marquis' Birthday Party during which he was able to reach over £1,000,000 for charity. WOW!!
We popped into @TomPembertonFarmLife on the way home to get a strawberry milkshake....YUM!

Must be an age thing , every time I click onto you channel the starting music reminds me of as it’s age thing I think it was called The river bank or something like that with hammy hamster & a rat but it’s along time ago maybe 55 years ago or longer, think you and the team do a great job cheers for some of the memories 👍

I am a old biker and a old lorry driver so know both but as a old biker I now have a slower bike still enjoying riding my bike but very aware of other road users and this time of year on country lanes you never know what's around the bend so take it slow dont end up in the front of a tractor
Defect absolute classic Michael!! We see plenty of signs & stickers saying Think Bike but they don't seem to think about themselves or anyone else. They're some decent bikers out there but the majority I encounter are defects .
Bikers give the genuine bikers a bad name. Allways someone will stick on the trailer end. Well done Pete Marquis .

In Cumbria , there are plenty of car drivers & expert cyclists (the ones that are peddling along looking where they have been) that think they have the right of way at all times and it is always safe for them to overtake when tractors are indicating right .
I'm with you on defect motorcycle drivers, I get the same when I'm out in the van doing a similar speed has a hgv. They think the speed limit doesn't apply to them
As a retired Farmer/Haulier/Feed & Grain store operator and (one of your nemesis) Motorbike rider. I get your frustration regarding CERTAIN factions of bikers but as Pete’s saying on his trucks says “Take chances, Enjoy life, Regret nothing”.
That’s fine as long as no one else gets hurt when chances are taken

My wife and I have a special name for the kamikaze bikers on the roads these days.
We call them 2 wheeled organ donors when they do something suicidal like trying to overtake you in the face of oncoming traffic or on a blind bend.
Do they think they are invincible on the road ??
Pete certainly knows how to put on a party by the looks of things.
I just wish that I could have gone down to his sale of tractors and machinery earlier on this year as it would have been well worth seeing..

Hello buddy.
Im a biker of the semi-older generation. I have seen some horrendous riders on those street racer things, they are a funeral just waiting to happen. A motorcycle over the learner limit in regards of CC's will have reasonable performance thus allowing it to pass most things quicker than a car. I k ow its annoying seeing them in your mirrors weaving in and out waiting for a spot to pass but give us all a break, most sit back a good distance and wait for a decent overtake opportunity. A bike is a lot narrower than a car and more manourverable so can get out of trouble MOST times. In contrast, I have had cars swerve out at me when I am passing them in slow traffic, that to me is more dangerous than zipping quickly past a slower vehicle.
Im glad the business is doing good, mad season is waiting.

May be unfair to tar all bikers with the one brush, there are a minority who ride that do so without respect for themselves or other road users. The same can be said for all road users,,, chances are taken.
