    ABOUT:
Hi! I’m Valeria, and I’m a Ukrainian expat and digital nomad, currently living in Italy. I first came here without speaking the language and being totally unprepared, but pretty sure this is gonna be an adventure of a lifetime! I love discovering Italian culture, Italian people and, of course, Italian food. I'm a full-time content creator, so when I'm not making travel videos, I'm taking photos, writing and creating artworks. Studying is another passion of mine, and currently, I’m finishing my Masters's degree at the University of Bologna. Here I post regular travel vlogs, tips on expat life, moving abroad, personal growth and self-esteem as a woman living abroad, so hop on and welcome on board!

I love your videos. Thanks for posting. Are the water fountains clean? Have you ever gotten sick after drinking from them?

Thank you! The ones that have potable water yes, they're clean and safe to drink from, but keep an eye on little plates saying "non potabile", there aren't many of them, but sometimes you'll see the fountains where you can't drink from.

Accidentally ended up in Rimini for a week when other plans fell through. We loved it and made good friends with our hosts. Our family has a thing for ladybugs and we saw soooo many there.

I have visited Italy several times and I think it is the best country for a family holiday, I have visited Pisa, Florence, Siena, Rome, Napoli, Verona, Anzio, Nettuno, Bologna, but in a week we will spend a family vacation in Rimini, mostly because of Federico Fellini and the Adriatic Sea, I plan to go to Ravenna and visit the Byzantine basilicas from the 6th century, of course Ancona is also in the plan. Thank you for this wonderful and informative video.

@heatherb7999 I stay in Residence Igea, free public beach is about 30 minutes walking, near you must pay, so free public beach is down to Rimini wheel, Rimini is nice place to spend holiday, must visit Republic of San Marino, direct bus going from train station, close also is Ravenna, metro mare is a speed tram is very well and organized and good to use,. Near from Residence Igea you have Conad supermarket and if you want to see everything you have bikes to rent. Cheers

Your videos are so helpful. We are planning to visit Italy June 21-July 7. Our itinerary consists of Venice, Milan, Bologna or Genoa, Florence, Rome and Catania or Palermo. Does this sound like a good plan or do you have any recommendations for a different itinerary? Thank you!

@@michelleplatt1695 thank you so much! We will start looking into those cities. We don’t plan on renting a vehicle so we are trying to see what our best options are for getting from those smaller cities to bigger cities for the day.

I would personally recommend visiting big cities if it's your first time in Italy - it's true that those places are plenty of tourists, but they're a must for first-time visitors. I'd personally save smaller places for the next time :) However, think about including Verona, too - it's truly magical! I have a video about some cool and less crowded places there: ruclips.net/video/JCX5hDXSGXY/видео.html
Also, keep in mind that moving from one place to another will take you quite some time. I personally prefer travelling around Italy by car, but see if you can drive for several hours between the various places! Otherwise, this itinerary looks great for the first visit - have fun!

@@DramaticallyExpatic wasn’t it you who said you have to decide if you’re a tourist or a traveler? We are not tourists. Big cities are great which is why I said to see them but only stay a day or two and then go to smaller towns from the big cities. Italy is very accessible by bus or train for the most part. If you’re prepared you can do a lot in 3 weeks.
