Hello, That is strange. ACCA now only allows students to access the CBE platform by logging in, so it is difficult to access the platform. However, I checked the feature for their other exam on the platform and it seems to be working there. Please double check to make sure that you are following the correct steps: Step 1: Select the cell which has the format you want to copy Step 2: Click on the paint format button Step 3: Click on the cell where you want to copy the format Hopefully it should work.
@@mosaicdemy3295 Hello Thank you for your reply But I'm also a student of ACCA and I have credentials and when I opened FR specimen and used spreadsheet tool i.e. format painter then it didn't work as per your guidance which had been mentioned below in your comment I don't know why this is not working 😥 However I saw many videos where it is working but now it doesn't 🙄
@@kuldeep.3012 I see. Thanks for letting me know, will keep that in mind. Might be best to let ACCA know that you are facing this issue so that they can fix any problems that might be present in their CBE system.
@@kuldeep.3012 Yes, I would recommend emailing them. If it gets through to them, them fixing the issue will benefit not just you but other students facing the same issue as well.
When i type text narrative in the cell, it doesnt overlap into the next cell, it just shows up to the text in the cell and hides the rest unless i open up the cell. Please how do i make the text over lap into the other cells sos i dont open up the column too wide?
Hello, This would happen if the cell next to it also has some text in it. There is a new feature added in the software, since this video was made, to allow you to fix that issue. Follow these steps: 1) Go into the cell where have you have this problem. 2) Next go to 'Format' on the top ribbon, and click on 'Cells'. 3) Click on the 'Alignment' tab in the pop-up menu 4) Tick the box for 'Wrap text', this will move any excess text to the next line within the same cell 5) Finally just stretch out the row to increase its height and you'll be able to see all the text in the same cell without increasing its column width Let me know if there is still any confusion.
Hi, That is strange. It seems to be working fine, when I just checked it right now. Try closing your browser and opening it again and trying. If the problem persists then try on a different internet browser. Hopefully that would work. If not, send us a screenshot or video of the problem to our email at mosaicdemy@gmail.com and we will look into it.
Hello Bisma, 1) Go to 'Format' on the top ribbon 2) Select 'Cells' 3) In the categories menu, pick "Currency" 4) Right above where it says "Negative Style" it has a drop down menu. In that menu, you can select which currency symbol you want to use. If you have any trouble finding it, send us an email at mosaicdemy@gmail.com and we will send you a screenshot to help you find it.

There isn't really an option to add a new sheet, as they want the entire answer in one sheet. You can reset the sheet to clear it entirely and start again.

Hello, From what we have seen there does not seem to be an option to insert rows or columns right now. They might add the feature in the future. For now, you could cut and paste your existing answer to make more room. It is not convenient, but it seems to be the only option.
Unfortunately, they do not have that option on their CBE practice platform. This means you would manually need to cut and paste the data in the rows/columns to move it. Please keep in mind, it also does not have the function (like excel) to insert a cut row/column before another one. So you would need to shift out the current row/column elsewhere and then paste the desired row/column in its place.
Unfortunately, they have not added that feature yet. You will have to move around the columns manually. You can select entire columns by clicking on the letter on top. For example, if you want to select column B, click on the 'B' cell on the top row. You can then cut/copy and paste the column to a new location.

Ideally use the most recent version if you have it. If not, the 2013 version will be fine as well.
