Thank you for sharing. I changed all my interior lights except for the glove box and the dome lights since I don't really know where to pry the housing and might damage the surface. My next project tomorrow.
Thanks for sharing your Z4 projects, as always very informative. Can you do a video on activating the rear fog light button that is standard on euro models?
There is a small light behind the seat in a speaker, to get at it remove the speaker cover and then remove the 3 Torx head screws, the lamp is then easily accessible. It is however very small and I doubt a footwell light style LED will fit in it.
I turned off Voltage Monitoring in my cars OBD lighting options, if you don't do this, your LEDs will flicker & you will see faults in the dash. This is if u use normal LEDs instead of bulkier Canbus ones.
I tried and after few months got error code for interior lights. My mechanic told me that I will risk fatal crash of light module. So I change it back to normal.
Great video! I bought LED lights for my Z4 a few months ago and after watching this video I am ready to tackle the job!

I did this mod but went with the same warm white color led’s as its easier on the eyes at night.

Great video as always. Thanks for making these on the Z4.
How you install that viewcam do you have a video for it . I don’t know which fuse to hook up too and where to ground the camera

Hey, please share your thoughts on how I can diagnose the issue that my e89 2011 hardtop doesn’t respond to my remote to open it.

Well worth doing.. I did it my Z4... My Z4 is going to a new owner soon.. 😪

E89 Z4s never came with vanity mirror lights or door puddle lights. Those were never offered on any variant of this car.
Thinks it was part of the extended light package.
Great vid, helped a lot and tweaked my Z very easily 😊
No errors or problems a few weeks on?
No, sir! No errors and the lights are staying nice and white (I've heard some can start going a little green after the initial burn in).
nice Z4😃
Link to the kit please?
Link in the description for the kit I got.
I would change the light bulb only in the trunk, because there is not enough light. In the cabin, the LAD light looks too vulgar for E89.
I agree a bit cold, i like the warmer std. lights.
Cold.
LED interior lights are a great upgrade for any car because halogens are just too dim, yellow, & energy wasteful.
