I ordered these from your UK link and they arrived in France in 2 days. No error messages and they look great! Many thanks! Irish Louis living in France.
One tip for when fitting these type of bulbs. Apply 1 drop of oil on your finger tip to the rubber seal on the bulb and it will turn so much easier when you rotate the bulb to lock it in position.
Thanks for the guide. I bought these and found the outer rings are a bit green like shows in your video. Still, for the price they are good and much brighter. I have a 2009 Z4.
Some good leds give whiter but still uneven due design of light guide. I just drive with headlights on, so not noticed. Good upgrade are Philips D1S for main beams.
These older angel eyes will always be a little uneven.. that's just how they were designed. Thanks for the info on the main beams, I'll have to look into those.
Excellent review (again). Did you have any code issues after fitting? I like the compact nature of these ones without those addional boxes. Only issue might be how long the fans will work for?
Thank you! I've been driving with them for a few days and no codes or dash lights. These come with a 2 year warranty, so I would hope they last at least that long and the little cooling fan doesn't burn out.
Hey Buddy, thanks for the very informative video, took your advise and ordered using link, fitted today and wow wow wow thanks for making such a great video
Thanks for this, I am UK based, sorry for stupid question but should I go for the H11 or the bigger ones you’ve links to? Sorry I just watched the full video, I have an E89 Z4 so I’ll be going for the normal ones :)
Yes, the normal ones fit best in the small space on these cars. The bigger ones have the cooling, which is nice if it fits in the housing (like 3 or 5 series). Thanks for watching!
Great video. Does one bulb light up the 2 rings on a side? Looks like the link you provided is for a pair of bulbs (so one bulb per pair of angel eyes), correct?
Hey bud I clicked on the link for the one you installed in your car the silver ones and I clicked on the link that say see if fit in your vehicle and it say won’t fit mine is a 2013 z4 thank your help is appreciated
Hey there! They probably just don't have every possible car in the Amazon system; especially the Z4 as it's so niche. The link I have (amzn.to/2IXaDE8), will work. Just make sure it says H11
Simple Car Guy Is that a 535I in your driveway? I'm guessing you've made the conversion on that vehicle as well. My son has that same vehicle ( model year 2011 ) and is looking to upgrade his headlights. Do you have a p/n for the Novsight led upgrade? Thanks, Jim
That's a BMW 550i F10. Those are the standard headlights on 2014+ models. I'm not sure how easy or hard it is to update the headlights on the pre-LCI 5 series (f10) since I've never looked into it. Thanks for watching!
Nice content! Do I need an extra canbus adapter for this Novsight H11 (H8/H9)? My car: BMW z4 e89 2010. I tried with other brand and they were not recognized by my BC.
Sorry for going off topic but I’m getting a 2009 35i here in Japan, it’s the titanium silver but what bugs me the most is the silver lashes (the strips above the headlights), do you think there’s any way to make them look more like the LCI models? Also thanks for the videos, they’ve been an encouragement.
The only way to make them look more LCI is to paint them, but that requires taking the headlight apart which isn't easy. These headlights are sealed and you run a chance breaking them in the process. I've also seen black plastic strips that go on the outside of the headlight, but I personally do not like the look Appreciate you watching all the way from Japan!
I think you can buy custom made headlights, which mimics the look of a brand new bmw. There are a few companies especially in thailand and in asian countries. Worth look on aliexpress as well. Just an option.
Be cautious, though. I bought those for my Mini Cooper s and they would rattle and bounce the light on the road, also no high beam or if you want high beam, warning lights on the dash.
I saw these carbon fiber eyelid covers on Ebay. I'm not sure they'll work for you but they do look nice... www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fiber-Front-Headlight-Eyelid-Cover-Eyebrow-Trim-For-BMW-Z4-E89-2009-2015/274464837743?fits=Make%3ABMW&hash=item3fe761106f:g:xo0AAOSwKTZfPX-u Thanks Simple Car Guy for another informative video...

Hi @@SimpleCarGuy , I was finally able to find these bulbs in their official website: www.novsights.com/products/novsights-n30s-1-1-led-headlights-conversion-kits-fog-light-bulb-55w-10000lm-6500k?variant=35553520713884 my question is: what aperture type do you have? Is the H11 compatible with an E89? They're so confusing. Could you please help me with that? Thanks a lot in advance!
@@uris10 Glad you found them, sorry I didn't see your reply with the country! H8, H9 and H11 are pretty much the same as far as the connector. The difference is in what is the optimal wattage on the filament, which does not apply here since it's LED. So, you can get either one of those, but make sure the heatsink isn't too big or it won't fit in the headlight housing.
I'm not sure what happened there as I'm seeing a different style bulb there now. The original part number I got was: A500-N30S-H11 and the ones that I can find closes to these on Amazon are A500-N30US-H11(amzn.to/2IXaDE8) they look exactly the same.

Thanks! That is correct. Each side only needs 1 bulb and it will light up both rings. The kit includes 2 bulbs in it.
I want to know what to do if the outside aperture turns yellow after changing the white LED light and where i can purchase its guide aperture. Thx!
I'm not really sure what you mean by aperture in this context. Which part changes to yellow? What LEDs did you install?

Just received the item from Amazon today but unable to remove the original bulb. How is it that u can remove it so easily?
Hmm, I’ve never had that problem. It should just twist off pretty easily. Go counterclockwise and don’t just push from the top. Good luck!

It should be as good as you can see in this video. It's the same age car, so it should be about the same.
