nerf the edges of every map
just make every map have walls instead of ledges - it'll solve this problem, and I won't get booped off the map as much :)

Time to abse the crap out of this! Hopefully, they can fix it with a hotfix and won't need to remove the hero, but it would be funny if come season 10 and Venture releases still with this bug lmao. Team 4 needs some more play testers, it seems like it's only the community finding stuff like this.
that's kinda the point: you have a small internal testing group and the rest is beta test. The community gets new stuff earlier, devs get a tonn of testing data for free
The community finding things like this is one of the two primary reasons to have community playtests before release.
Playtesting isnt easy to find stuff like this

They’ll probably make it so the dash remembers which enemies have been hit by it, so it only deals damage to each player once and ignores them after being hit.
I feel like there'd be other bugs stemming from that solution, but its interesting for sure
@@nsbunited Overwatch already has similar systems, closest example probably being Wrecking Ball. Each fireball remembers which players have been hit to avoid hitting them multiple times, and ignores them if they’ve been hit already.
It’s for this reason that to double boop you have to reset the fireball to clear the list, wait a set amount of time for the list to remove the enemies, or break LOS for the list to remove the enemies.
Would be difficult, since it's possible to hit an enemy multiple times with a regular dash, even above ground
Easiest way is an Echo or Pharah flying backwards with Venture's forward movement
ah. Thats why i died so quickly as doom in a few instances. Then again, Venture is pretty strong already for a Dps.
I wonder if you can use a lifeweaver petal platform to get a ledge anywhere for it

I've heard this a lot, and as a DPS Doomfist player, I can kinda see the resemblance - they're REALLY fun so far
Might end up adding them to my hero pool! Especially if I can keep finding glitches with them
not really the right click has poor range and burrow isnt as opressive as doomfists shift, but one similarity that people overlook is that the right click can lift the enemy up in any angle its pointed at meaning its a combination of uppercut and punch at the cost of range.
I'd say shes a combination of sombra junkrat and doomfist

Overbug 2 , as a Doom main we already know it, a lot of bugs never fixed like always but its Overbug 2 , the "better" version of Ow1 😂
doom mains implement bugs as techs. Then, when it's patched, ya'll complain about it.
I am a bit late to comment on this video. I found out that this bug is very similar to the gameplay trailer we can see them using drill charge while in burrow to fly like that so it should be an intentional ability. But I think this bug is unintentionally increasing the damage by performing it on a ledge.
At least it's a stress test and players have been able to find bugs like this before the official release
I wish they added back the PTR from Overwatch 1 for these kinds of things, maybe we'd have a less buggy game 😅

Lowkey hope they keep this (nerfed ofc). It's a specific setup and rewards good map knowledge from the side of both players. It shouldn't one shot, but I think OW2 could do with more technical mechanics so keeping this in some form would be pretty cool tbh.
