Pink Floyd's 1977 masterpiece "Animals", a conceptual album written by Roger Waters, is based off "Animal Farm".
It's still as relevant today as the year it was produced...if not more.

I read this book recently and the message is very clear and alarming. It summarises the politics of under developed countries.Humans should know what their rights are and also fight to get their rights and avoid being exploited.

Orwell was a Democratic Socialist but above all he valued free speech and opposed totalitarianism. Orwell gets respect because he actually was a principled man who held strong convictions and he could not be bought or corrupted. When he wanted to experience poverty or homelessness or the life of say a coal miner he didn't observe it, instead he lived as a poor person, a homeless person and as a miner and he didn't just oppose Fascism in words, he fought against Franco in Spain despite having TB and nearly died after taking a bullet to his throat. Add to principled you can add caring and brave. The world sadly doesn't produce enough people of the calibre of Orwell, if it did the world would be a better place.

George Orwell was truly an intellectual genius on the level of Nicola Tesla, just different.

George Orwell was Libertarian socialist . Libertarian socialism is a bout 0.05% of Australian population it's not liked here in Australia.. Biden is a Libertarian socialist and not liked in Australia. George Orwell's books were never big sellers in Australia.

George Orwell was a democratic socialist. His writing was very clear on this matter.

To equate Orwell with Biden is nonsensical and denigrating to Orwell. The former is in favor of free speech while the latter has been trying to shut it down, along with other civil liberties, recently manifested through his Ministry of Misinformation. After the (swamp) animals chased the legitimate President Jones out of the WH, the situation have become so oppressive against free speech that even the Musk has to take drastic action to preserve the last beacon on earth. The proliferation of isms in this age of social media and prevalent fake news have contributed to convoluted semantics imposed by woke mobs and info Napoleons/Squealers. It’s hence increasingly meaningless to classify what kind of socialist Orwell was. Even a Supreme Court Justice in USA wasn’t able to define what a woman is. The Orwellian cautionary tales are stark and truth, and here.

Sure, and I hope the question was in good faith.
Socialism is not inherently totalitarian, as there are multiple ways to go through with socialism. Some socialists believe a transitionary state is necessary to apply either socialism or communism. (All communists are socialists but not all socialists are communists). Some socialists believe you can get socialism through reform or by democratic means, which is what Orwell was in favor of. His take on "classical marxism", "stalinism", "marxist-leninism" and transitionary states are evil as he explains in his 1984 book that no state is created with the intention of relinquishing it.
So there you have it, socialism is not totalitarian, and Orwell was not hypocritical by that means.
