In all of our lives if you don't experience hard times you can not appreciate the good time or success... you never forget where you came from to where you are now. The internet desc: The sea commemorates the journey and passage of time BTS and their fans had to navigate through to get where they are. Their journey, long and tedious, remains a testament to the obstacles they'd face to achieve. The rap line wrote their own verses but this is an RM inspiration of poetry song.

You will find this lyrics kind of translated into sounds in Yet to Come mvideo. The sound of the sea in the desert, for exemple. And this lyric's meaning is shown through Yet to come lyrics. If this makes sense. For me makes all the sense. They had to walk through the desert to reach the sea and the hope was all they had. Now they look back to the past only to see the past was necessary to make them grow and be who they are now. 😊💜

i remember first hearing this song back when it dropped without any english lyrics but i just knew what it was about n i tell u i was bawling. i still cry to this song til this very day. it’s about their struggle throughout trying to make it to their dream, how people mistreated them cuz they weren’t from a big company n oftentimes they weren’t given time to perform n even if they were, their performance would not be aired or be cut out. many people told them they wouldn’t succeed and armys were treated badly too. with all the discouragement they wanted to prove those ppl who didn’t believe in them n pushing themselves on days they wanted to give up. although they definitely got more opportunities and chances after their 1st win for I need you, it was the same thing over and over again, they had to keep pushing cuz ppl thought their company paid the award company and i think there was a time they were struggling n they said they were scared their dream might become their nightmare (don’t quote me on it) indicating the sea to desert. to me as an army for 6-8 years this song was really emotional for me to listen to every time, it just showed the relationship between army and bts and how much they helped us and how we were there for them as well.
You can easily see their growth from No More Dream era to this just by compairing other songs with this masterpiece
