  • A full orchestral score with instrumentation not typical for a Western. Music by Bruce Broughton from the 1993 movie.

Watching Wyatt and Josephine finally have their dance reminded me of watching Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter finally have theirs. Beautiful, romantic moments the cinema was just made for.

“From now on I see a red sash, I kill the man wearing it. So run you cur. And tell the other curs the law is coming. You tell 'em I'm coming! And Hell's coming with me you hear! And Hell's coming with me!”

One the best end credit tracks! I worked at a movie theater when this came out in 1993. I used to make a point to clean the theater this was showing in so I could watch Kurt Russell, Bill Paxton, and the others haughtily swagger through town set to Broughton's bold, brassy theme with it's brawny percussion. Incidentally, for the percussion (begins 2:31) Broughton even got some advice from percussion afficianado, Jerry Goldsmtih. Truly among the best end credit suites of any film and certainly the best end title of 1993 (just ahead of Cliff Eidelman's masterpiece for Christopher Columbus: ruclips.net/video/93JpulrgLCk/видео.html).

Must have gotten some Horn advice from both Goldsmith and Sam Spence. @2:35, we could easily be in NFL Films territory.

2:30 The scene where the Earp brothers and Doc walk down the street with the end roll from here is the coolest.

@@sdefrias I also watched Kevin Costner's "Wyatt Earp". I know Kevin's is a movie about Wyatt's life. However, I think Wyatt Earp, played by Kurt Russell, looks terrific. Especially the beard...

    Narrator (Robert Mitchum):
"The power of the Cowboy Gang was broken forever.
Ike Canton was shot & killed two years later during an attempted robbery.
Mattie died of a drug overdose shortly after leaving Tombstone.
Virgil & Allie Earp moved to California, where Virgil, despite the use of only one arm, became a town Sheriff.
    Wyatt & Josephine embarked on
a series of adventures. Up or down,
thin or flush, in 47 years they never
left each other's side. Wyatt Earp
died in Los Angeles in 1929. Among
the pallbearers at his funeral, were
early Western movie stars William S. Hart & Tom Mix.
    Tom Mix wept."

Infuriated that I can’t find this on Spotify or at least a 10hr version of the main theme which is in the middle of this track and sandwich between the pretty stuff. Shit, I might just make it myself to be honest.
