Confused between a6700 & sx20. The only downside I feel sx20 has is the lack of weather sealing.

What about dynamic range and noise comparison of FLOG2 with 1250 base ISO on Fuji vs SLOG3 with 800 ISO on Sony?
What you described is very similar. Both iso are very close when it comes to noise . However, from what Ihave seen, Dynamic range will be slightly better on sony, especially with s-log. You get tone of dynamic range but more work with color grading. So its really up to you. Even still, you get more dynamic range with sony but very flat looking image. If you know and have experience with Sony raw files than go ahead. i am personally very comfortable because i use it for years.
@@danielbogos263 Yes, I think the ISO is less of an issue (but the ZV-E1 having dual native ISOs at 640 and 12800 is crazy good!). However the 6.2k dynamic range is a bit disappointing. CINED tested it and at SRN=1:
* X-S20 - 12.1 in 6.2k (12.7 in 4k30 though)
* Panasonic GH6 - 12.2 (XS20 is worse than micro four thirds even!)
* FX30 / A6700 - 12.6
* X-T2 - 12.8 (7 year old camera!)
* Nikon Z9 - 12.9
* X-H2 - 13.6
* X-H2S - 13.6
* Sony A7 SIII - 13.6
* Panasonics S5 II - 13.7
The 5 year old sensor is showing its age unfortunately and this is not a baby X-H2S when it comes to dynamic range.

More details of the Sony is not new. My A6100 captures more details than my fuji xt30 which has the same sensor as the xs20. Also the sony has more details from base iso to iso 12800. Main issue with sony bodies is sensor reflection, which causes bad flaring with most lenses. Fuji, Nikon, Canon dont have these flaring issues at all.

I don't want those bent cricket bat or oval shape ball in my sport shooting....20 FPS of fuji is unusable for me, so i would go for 15FPS mechanical shutter of R7 ... You should talk about these things rather than just saying that it can do 20FPS .... Any camera that don't have stacked sensor, shooting professional fast moving subject with E-shutter is garbage...many times I am insulted and my project was rejected

2. NONE of them are stacked CMOS sensor, neither the FX30, A6700 or the Fuji X-S20
3. Ops, the Canon R7 is a FSI not even a BSI, how u dare to say a FSI readout speed is better than BSI ?
and PLS don't compared the 4K 30fps sensor rolling readout speed against the Burst speed, both things are entirely different
