@@Phillip_Deane After blowing up my life (radio career & first marriage) 22 years ago, spent an hour smacking a $3 bucket of golf balls at a driving range to get out my frustrations and self-loathing...underpower-lines, in a thunderstorm, barefoot in the wet grass, daring the lightning to hit me (sarcastically). Instead of taking me out, that 'moment' actually tripped the trigger for a new path. The next day, my brand-new Life Coach asked: "How was your week?" Totally agree with you about the self belief and age. I've just turned 63 and still think I'm 30 😂. If you believe you can , then you most likely will!! Don't let anyone tell you any different 😂😂.
I'm back rucking in boots at 51 years old. Being gradually increasing the weight over the last year from 10kg for 10kms to 28kg for 10km. Lost a shed load of weight, strengthened my legs, improved my cardiovascular fitness improved muscle tone etc. Highly recommend people of any age to do same. Start small and take it slow. You won't regret it.
Same here. I got my first novella published at 62. 67 now and still writing, working toward the big time. BTW I still feel early 40-ish. Just a number indeed.
Hi 👋 I’m 44 and started my channel in the beginning of October, just hit 100 subscribers and having lots of fun meeting and supporting other growing channels 👍👍 age is just a number!
Hi Roger yes you're absolutely right ✅️ age is just a number am 68 years old in January and started my RUclips channel 2 years ago and enjoying every minute
Thank you for posting this Phillip! Man, just being brave and focused and posting this video puts you in the same category as that runner. Well done mate - you are an inspiration!
Awesome to hear because I’m looking into major endeavors that’s risky and requires extreme effort. I’m 52 & been told by family while coming out marriage, losing most stuff, too old for new life. Mindset is most everything and cheers to going after dreams.
Currently 58yrs old, and I am still battling away after everything went wrong in June 2015, when a series of events hit me brutally hard. I got hit again in 2021 and I am fighting my way whilst submerged (So to speak) back to get my head above water.
Thanks for this video. Such a positive message which we should all take very seriously, the only thing that really counts is now. When we're young so many of us lack the knowledge which enables us to make informed choices or the support to do so, but it's never too late to turn things around. Well almost never, I guess when you're in the box it's time to call it a day, but 'til then anyway
This is absolutely true..I wanted to be a nun since I was 4 years old, marriage and children came along, my husband died, children in their own homes and families, so I thought I would try again, I was 60 years old...I was too old....the training is lengthy and not easy...t's amazing the training you go through before you are received as a full Sister in the convent. So, I live a life of prayer, simplicity and solitude except for my family and church friends.....I am contented...and thankful for life...
