When you go back and listen to Rio Loz, pull up the lyrics and translate them (if you do not speak Spanish, like me who understands a little bit), his verse is a good connector verse. This song was like watching your favorite basketball team take it down the field, and then just jam down the hoop. Eric going last on this really just tied the whole sound together, and wrapped it up in a nice little bow. Just a good song.
I am new to the channel but its never to late. I love how you both break these songs down, just the mature conversation and understanding of each verse (especially for my age group). I write poetry and I love this, I love to hear your reactions. When I think of flower child. I think of how a flower blossoms but if you pull it up to soon, it can't blossom and become what it was created to do. You also stop the growth of others that are placed on your path through your journey to impact, inspire and uplift as some flowers have seeds that fall and create new plants of its kind, that one verse was as the youth say "FIRE"!!!

I've seen a lot of reactors do this song, and yours by far is one the most honest and best break downs of this great track, props to you guys!! I don't think it's disrespectful at all that you enjoyed Eric's lines the best. I think a good analogy would be like in baseball, you don't start you closing pitcher, that has a crazy good knuckle ball that no one can hit. You save him for the end of the game. I think that also shows Tobe's knowledge of the rap and hip hop game, and his lack of ego, that he probably knew from the second this collab was considered, that Eric had to do the closing number, ya know what I mean. Yeah, I absolutely love the beats in this one, I could rock with just the instrumentals, of course I loved all the flows as well. But I get what Ryan is saying about not being into the beats, I've just always been a fan of the more eccentric, unique or experimental productions.

My original comment was gonna say that Ryan was not feeling this $#!÷! All the way till almost the 6 minute mark, I dont think Ryan even bobbed his head! Lmao... I will agree that Tobe has some strange beat selections, but the conclusion I've came to, is everything he does connects strongly to his heritage. And sometimes, whether it's his lyrics or his beats, that choice can hender his music. To certain listeners anyways. I dont mind it at all personally. But the only hiccup I see in that being his choice, to always have that strongly in everyone of his songs, is i cant listen to 10 songs straight. I know this may be a lot to ask but I think it would be dope if you breakdown the original listen like you guys always do and then take a second listen right after (but listen to the second listen straight through without pausing and breaking it down) For the second listen you could just cut it out of the video or maybe do a speed effect so you don't get flagged for playing things straight through. I just think sometimes hearing a song in totality will give you a different feel, so I would love to see if listening a second time straight through changed your perspective or affirmed what you already thought
The quality and talent is definitely there in this song. Definitely could see this as a performance piece. Coast Contra are excellent writers, definitely would like to hear a song by them. The beat was a bit odd though.

Nell was the beat maker for most of Tobe's song, not his wife Fat. Fat was responsible for the choreograph. But now I don't even know if Nell makes the beats. I also don't see her in the videos anymore.
