For those who make tutorial content, it would be good to be clearer, and more patient when explaining ... the structure is incredible ... but it explains half and it is not understood ... but what you design is very good.
Thanks for this video but this is not entirely clear, can you please expatiate on the last step of frame that works? The last stage where you explained that the frame should be hosted on adaptive points throughout is not explained to a satisfactory completion. You just created one frame and don't show how the rest of the frames will be created. I can see that this will only work by hosting the profile for each reference on each adaptive point, but how does that impact the end conditions of the whole frame when inserted into the project? Besides not all the points in this diagram are adaptive points, and the reference lines are too many? Please forgive my bluntness, I have tried this many times and I am really frustrated of the result that I get.
I mean did you create that profile and loaded it in or how? I can't seem to do the same.. The "Place on Face" and "Place on Work Plane" options are not available to me.
That profile I'm adding is another adaptive component family with on adaptive point only and the rectangle drawn with the with and height instance parameters... let me know if this answers your question
@@vpbimchannel9014 the adaptive point is killing me; so simple. i created a rectangular shape and assigned instances parameters but thing is when i go to place it a doesn't snap in the center of the chosen plane and i can't move it. what the deal????hlp
I think You could plkace Your reference points on hexagonal or octagonal grid instead of square. It would made shapes get much closer to the circle shape You are after. Also placing the reference lines diagonally instead of vertically could make a big diffrence. Great skills though, I will learn from You. Thank You for this movie
hi why not just use spline to draw a section profile of the thing? make the spline tangent to the horizontal plane. then revolve it. then array it 3X3, and then build a flat top surface to connect to the 9 curved cone-shapes. Am I missing something here?
hi! i tried finding the metric generic model adaptive in my library but it doesn't show anything so do u know where can i download it from? any useful sites? because ive tried many and i just can't seem to download it
Did you try selecting tab before you select the import surface? sometimes you can select a surface from the import but not the correct one (sorry for the late reply)
hey, it's very awesome tutorial, but i'm wondering that how to do with the third system of grid in this video you just did two systems of grid that rotate 90 degrees, but the original design has 3 systems of grid it's very difficult to do the third system :
Not sure if this worked, and the most important part in the end you cut off??? the previous part you did inefficiently and was almost wasting the viewers' time

I agree with this!
I agree too :/ my old videos were not so clear... hopefully I'm improving on that now. thanks for the feedback
@@vpbimchannel9014 if its not too much too ask is it possible to remake this video but improved in terms of recording and explaining ? Thankyou

you are very good. but there are toooo many passages that are not described...thanks for sharing your knowledge ....but still to complicated for me.
Very nice software for quickly modelling for innovative structure

Hello! Great, I just can't understand when you create the adaptive generic model at 20:57 when you add the profile. What kind of profile is that?

Natalia nat did you figure out the profile situation; thats the only thing im missing.
please if u know how to move these adaptive points when we load it tell me
cause it doesnt move and its long i dont know why
Hi, could you please tell me how I can intersect the revel and the top surface together? It says that I cannot do it, because it is a mesh, thanks.

But how would the constructor build this? How you pass information?

clic on the surface if the divide button don't appear clic on tab , to select the same surface but the one that can be divide, that should work
Which units are you using?
And how did you set the plane?
que hermoso, me pregunto si estará en español en alguna parte :')
Prometo hacerles un Tutorial de esta estructura, me gusto tambien bastante
